I hope we don't have to wait until Christmas to see what you harvested. 😂
Sorry, I know, that you are really hard working.
I just feared you wouldn't show the gardening videos anymore.
    Glad you do! ❤

You guys must be close to 100% self-sufficient when it comes to food, that looks great! Hopefully it was also a good harvest❤

You are so well organized Dessy in all of your projects! I am amazed at how a girl from a city upbringing adapted so well to the farm life which is much more demanding but
more rewarding in many aspects. Your seed collection is just awesome. Hope that you get a bountiful harvest this fall ! Always interesting and educational to watch the videos that both you and David make.. 👍👍👍🙏🏻🏆❤

I'm really a novice about gardening, and at first I was surprised that you wore gloves to handle the seeds. (Is she keeping the bacteria from her hands from getting on the beans?) Then I observed that your fingertips were making contact with the soil. Oh. How about "she's keeping her hands clean"? Especially avoiding getting dirt under the fingernails! Smart girl!

I am a new gardener So everything I say here is stuff I have learned from RUclips and 4 yrs of bad harvests:
1st NEW seed r nesesary every year. Old seeds may only gurminate about 1/2 or less.
    2. The soil/ dirt has to be prepared with fertilizers ( organic best such as compost from ur goats)
    3. Everything Has To Be Water EVERY SINGLE DAY !!!
Until THEY ARE ESTABLISHED ( about 6-8 inches)
    4. Then every other day till harvest OR depending on ur weather.
I have lost many plants because I didn’t water , specially TOMATOS 🍅 split or leaves go yellow.
    My history:
The 1st the rats eat all my seedlings and I didn’t know that I could just start over. Years 2-4 weather has changed soooo much that rain came way too much, when it was not needed Next NO heat, now way to much heat. We live on the central coast if California in micro climate do to hills & gullies.
I have been making raised beds bc our soil is clay & the rat problem. So, as I can bc of my budget & age.
Free compost from city but no transport but 1 day a week.
Then the bag-ed garden raised beds soil like fm Miracle Grow .
So I think maybe some of these steps were Not Needed in the past in Latvia but now I think that is why u r not getting the harvest u except.

Seeds do become less viable over the years, but mist dinr decline as quickly as youve stated. Keeping them dry, in cool stable temps & out of direct sunlight helps. Ive planted gifted 7 yr old seeds, with a germination rate of approx 75%
How much you need to water deoends on what you plant & your climate too.
As a newer gardener seeing if there is a local county or university extension, or even a Master Gardeners group, to offer local advise would be invaluable for your continued success.
