The actual logic behind it is that apparently, the heart belongs to a large animal and that they somehow attached it to a gigantic clone of some guy named Sergei. This is one of those things which I find quite illogical about Resident Evil. Plus, the Tyrant is quite durable so I don't think it is that simple.
@@ibrahimihsan2090 None of the Tyrants were clones of Sergei. His clones (which he viewed as his family), which were made by the Soviet Union back when he was with them, he reluctantly allowed Umbrella to experiment on to improve T which allowed for Tyrants to be made more easily. That's why he views Tyrants as his "brothers". The T-002 and T-001 (the Tyrants in 1 and 0) were actually people that were mutated with T and put through surgery by Umbrella to try and create a proper model for Tyrant. The T-002 actually attacks Wesker here because it remembers him as one of the staff that experimented on him and hates him for that. They actually might have intended for him to come back after 1 as the original idea Iwao had when making Wesker was that Wesker planned to use Tyrant to influence a large country using its T-Virus as a demonstration of power. Iwao left Capcom in 1995 but his team members sometimes carried on his ideas into later titles in the series with concepts of his return being talked about during 2's development and with his actual return being reworked for how it was done in Code Veronica (which began production right after 2 alongside 0 and 4 (which at the time was to be 3 since 3 had been planned to be a game they were thinking of for the PS2 at the time)).
