Glad to see a Skyblock-esque series return. I think Skyblock at it's core is the ultimate challenge in resource management. You spawn on a tiny island in an empty universe. As you carefully navigate your absurd circumstance, you gain a new appreciation for the few things you have as you meticulously use them to their fullest. Skyblock teaches us that no matter how ridiculous the odds may seem, within us resides the power to overcome these challenges and achieve something beautiful. That one day, we'll look back at where we started and be amazed at how far we've come.

The pebbles are a Garden of Glass feature, which is the Botania addon that basically just sets a flag in the base mod that says you can make a Skyblock like world

Which is kind of silly when you´re 30, but humans are silly animals and most other creators who´ve been around for longer than 5 years react in exactly the same way.

Silent Gear and Tinkers' Construct are like Refined Storage and Applied Energistics. One focuses on aesthetic while the other focuses on functionality. Btw you can make a tip upgrade for your silent gear tool with 1 item. This will upgrade its harvest level to that material
I remember watching the original one block he played, first minecraft map I download on Java all because of him. I really owe a lot of my current things in life to him, even my animations are inspired by his music videos (I know he didn't animate them.) Thank you Jordan.
In Silent Gear, you can replace tool parts (like Tinkers), and you can use the gems you get as materials in your parts. And you can mix materials for different boosts. And if I recall correctly, they also don't break (they repair with using one of the used materials)
they break into an a barely usable 1/durability mode that mines worse than wood. But yes can be repaired with an equal tier or greater materials used to make said tool or like materials.

Getting pebbles from dirt is a Garden of Glass addon for Botania. Specifically designed for skyblock worlds. Unless the quest book explicitly tells you, I have no idea how you're expected to know.
The thing is, this seems to be a pack based largely around Garden of Glass. A Botania skyblock mode, in which you can progress simply with Botania and the starting cube you were provided, hence the Livingroot for crafting Saplings and Floral Fertilizer. That's why you can rummage in the dirt, why you have the Botania light source, etc. Knowing GoG would probably have helped your with that part where you weren't sure how you were meant to know about rummaging.

So the amazing thing about silent gear is if you want a certain tier pickaxe, the 1st ingredient being the highest you have is needed, you can put other ingredients after that, the material order is relevant to the overall stats of the pick
Yep, the pebbles. I also like how it is not listed or explained anywhere in the entire modpack. And all they needed was one quest that said "Right Click Dirt"
when it comes to the mcprohosting stuff, i went with them and i gotta say, theyre as awesome as people make them out to be. super helpful, affordable, good servers, and just in general an awesome service. i used them for a world with some friends and we played for hundreds of hours without issue, only the occasional restart to clear the cache. i recommend them for new server owners and experienced owners alike. this sounds like an ad but i swear it isnt, i genuinely appreciate all they do. the world is on standby now, and i pay 3 dollars a month to keep the server on standby, ready to activate when everyone gets on again. love these guys, cannot recommend them enough

Just for u to know if u want to have better tools faster , u have a blueprint for sticks , so u can make sticks from other blocks not just wood and combine with the head of the tool u make it with blueprints and like this u get much better stone picks or iron , diamond , etc . I love this series so i am gonna wach every episode . Good luck with the modpack and thx for the video !

I haven't watched your older Skyblock stuff, wasn't into it at the time. Think I'll go back and give it a look. Right after this stuff, of course. This is some good work, man! Really enjoyed it
with Silent's Gear (i'm not sure if it's disabled in this pack or not), you can make stuff by mixing materials (like, making an iron pick head, but using a gemstone in place of one of the ingots). also you picked up the botany pot, so it's possible that you can do the same with animals if it's Carry On ^^
Game Tip: the one block as a grass block functions as (dun, dun, dun) a grass block. If you put dirt next to it you can get grass to spread before you complete the 128 dirt block challenge. Also, because the quest book doesn't explain this, you can sneak and empty hand punch dirt block to get pebbles. Four pebbles = cobblestone.
You can make a diamond-level pickaxe with silent gear, using only 1 diamond. You can mix&match materials into something really good. Yup, the head can be 3 different materials. A diamond, some of those gems you got, that's some nice stuff you can get.

Organic compost from my knowledge can be used to plant red mushroom and plant brown mushroom used in certain recipes in the Farmers Delight mod to make food. The mushrooms placed on it and if let enough time to grow can give multiple mushroom of the type planted
Mans GOT to play the Ultimate Survival World. I’ve gotten over 40 hours of entertainment and enjoyment from this adventure map so far, and it only costs 5 bucks in the creators Patreon. I’m honestly glad I bought this instead of a switch game for wayyy more $ lmao
i started this modpack with a couple friends and its SO FUN! im not good with create though so i stick to making the island look pretty and let them build the water wheels

just saying this for anyone wondering the reason the silent gems has that synergy percentage is because you can use more then one type of material so sparkles had 2 diamonds and an emerald he could have made a pickaxe with them and gotten a decent synergy
Silent gear is pretty cool customization mod for gear it does a lot more than what you were thinking I'd recommend looking at a video of it explaining all the stuff it does

Captain, modpack has Carry-on. You can shift right click any mob and pick it up and carry it. Moving your animals is actually super easy
