From Wikipedia:
Plano (/ˈpleɪnoʊ/ PLAY-noh) is a city in Collin County and Denton County, Texas. It had a population of 285,494 at the 2020 census. It is a principal city of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
During the 1980s, many large corporations, including J. C. Penney and Frito-Lay, moved their headquarters to Plano, spurring further growth. By 1990, the population reached 128,713, dwarfing the county seat, McKinney. In 1994, Plano was recognized as an All-America City. By 2000, the population grew to 222,030, making it one of Dallas's largest suburbs. Plano is surrounded by other municipalities and so cannot expand in area, and there is little undeveloped land within the city limits. But as of July 2012, one large tract of land was being developed: Turnpike Commons at the intersection of Renner Road and the George Bush Turnpike (also bordered by Shiloh Road to the east). The development is expected to feature apartments, medical facilities, restaurants, a Race Trac gas station, and a hotel.
On June 15, 2015, after five years of disuse, a 178-foot water tower built in 1985 was demolished to make room for Legacy West.
What’s crazy is this wasn’t Even a Full tour of Plano, there’s still the Entire West side, North Side and South side. Goes to show how massive Plano is
Great video Mike
I think it’s a case of if you’ve seen one side, you’ve seen them all, lol.
Plano is huge; it's bigger than some states' largest cities, including Birmingham, AL
Little Rock, AR
Charleston, SC
40:35...man, look how fast these Plano folks walk!
😂
😅😅😅😅
Love the drive around Plano TX and didn't know there's a street in Plano named after a holiday
My hometown moved here in 1972 with a population of about 17K, now over 300K.
Jesus that place is massive. I was considering moving up there for a sales job and this kinda sold it for me.
The first 12 minutes of the video showcase the older or eastern side of Plano, featuring industrial areas and smaller homes. The houses in this area were built in the 1970s and early 1980s, with prices starting at around $300,000. On the western side, house prices are comparatively higher for Texas, starting at $450,000 for smaller homes, but they are hard to find. Most of the homes in this area are priced at $700,000 and above.
wow😀
Plain-Jane-o if you ask me.
Dr.Pepper is being made there. Like it.
Not made here, headquartered here.
Looks like a person would definitely need a car to get around down there. Their streets are named like DC streets
what a soulless hellscape
this could be literally any suburban town in TX. Its gross
