WOW!!! Having to go through all that for a 1/4 inch… that’s bad with only 4 days left and the greater than not possibility of breaking that gorgeous counter stone. Good luck @Brad .. hopefully it came out good.. Stay blessed brother!!
You really do spare no expense on the details, which I understand is partly what the homeowners pays for. If it were me, I'd take the cabinet doors under the sink off and shave the 1/4 inch off of it before having to do the granite, plumbing, cabinetry fixes! Is it obvious my home is far from high-end and that I'd be happy with 1/2 the level of detail, lol. That is one magnificent home, Brad, and your clients clearly get what they pay for with you in charge. No wonder your reputation with your clients, your subs and within the industry is so great! There is no doubt in my mind that the homeowners are going to be very, very happy with this home. Not to worry - you'll get there! Thanks for taking us along. Makes me stressed out just thinking about all those little details and the amount of organizing with so many people's schedules it takes to get things done on time, as needed! I can understand you wanting to live outside of the city and enjoying peace and quiet for as far as the eye can see (unless you look to the "Weast" to Flair's, but he's a great neighbour for many other reasons. Including Ralph! Heather🇨🇦 PS-I keep hoping that one of these days Andrew will show us the new baby. I don't think he's even told us if they're home from the hospital (which I realize they are) and what the new addition's name is! It'd be great to hear how much Brooklyn is loving being a big sister and how mom is hanging in there! Put a bug in his ear for me? Not that one person asking will make it happen, lol, but I can't be the only one hoping all is well on that front.
For sure the counter top guys usually add the overhang support. Unsure where did they come up with that being a home owner issue or builder issue. They charge a lot for counter tops the least they can do is install it the right way with that included.
Good vid, We need more of Toms work. BTW I just used similar granite on a cabinet top in the den. Was hard to find a remnant with character, trend seems to be whites, gray and muted.
thats what I was going to suggest. Cabinet guy, Painter to stain again. 2 Trades and your done. Might not be able to fit as flush with the rest of doors though...
Hey Brad Buddy ! I am catching up ! I hv been buried ! But I build a lot of cabinets just built a huge 37” sink box for a customer just like that one ! Then did 48 doors to switch to the hidden hinges and put in multiple drawers ( custom stainless steel ones) and was buttoning up with crown across the top of these 75 yr old farm house cabinets! They threw me out cause I was leaving gaps in the crown ? I was not even done it was not even attached I pinned it up to bring it all together? Anyway I finally figured they are beating me out of my money? And they did about 50% . No more ! I am really really choosy about customers anymore !
I would’ve taken a blade width off the top of those cabinet doors and nobody would’ve ever known. I’m not bringing in eighty people for something I could’ve fixed in three minutes with a table saw😂
How do you deal with home owners insurance not wanting to cover things they absolutely need to?? My neighbors exhaust fan their bathroom shorted out and burned up which melted the plumbing in the attic so the firefighters turned my water off by accident 1st but they didn't tell me so I could get all the air out of my lines. An air bulles went through the line to my fridge and it burst the filter in my fridge while I was out of town for the night. I returned to find water everywhere thank goodness I came home a day early or it would have been my whole house but it was my kitchen, living room, laundry room, master bedroom, master bathroom and closet. So as you can imagine all floors are soaked and cabinets are ruined I have secondary damage from the water mitigation team trying to melt my house with their dehumidifiers. My insurance is trying only replace a couple cabinets boxes and repair the carpet. The house was built in 1991 all the cabinets are swollen with water the carpets are roughly 22 years and are delaminating and all the seems are no longer together from all the water. The water mitigation team also drilled the air holes above the trim lines so now I have to repair that it would have been easier to just remove @ 2' instead of these holes. The carpet as you can imagine is disgusting I'm physically starting to get sick almost like a cold. This was a month ago at this point and my dryer is in my living room and stove is not hooked up and is sitting across the room. I'm disabled so walking my across the street to dry them is ridiculous and sandwiches are definitely old at this point. I know this is a jumbled mess I'm sorry. I don't know what the them is for Allstate but whatever it is they are not whatever there them.🤬🤬 Any advice from anyone would help and definitely don't ever use the same water mitigation team
Also the tops could hv been shaved ( the doors under the sink ) take the door off shave 1/8th “ from top and bottom , and restrain then hang ! I hv done that more than once! I hv cut doors down thru the middle and rehung told the home owner you find the “ Boo-Boo” I will take no$250 off the bill ? Still looking?
Wait, where are the guys saying Brad only copies Flair in these comments? Funny how this is a majority of how Brads videos are, but those guys only seem to want to talk shit on the episodes around the newly developed property 😂
How could all your subs be working in there and not address the smoke detector. Your slacking, Brad. Maybe you're better off making tornado updates at your place.

Been there, It is always on the guy, IE, you, and that is it. Some times it is a very tuff build or remodel, you got it, as always, MY MAN.

Getting close to being done.
It's all looking great ! 👍🎺
Great job Brad!!!!
Awesome video as always Brad 🎉❤
Brad coming down to the wire for sure. Hang in there almost finished.
You should cut the reverse osmosis hole at no smaller than 1 1/4” (1.25” /32mm).
Oh know 😮the granite top
That cabinet issue doesn’t seem like a big deal but it is 😢
Wouldn't it be easier to just cut into that cabinet door and have them make a new one? Seems easier than calling in 4 different tradesman.

With homes like this I always wonder what the job trade is for the homeowner to be able to afford something like this?
Of course it’s always the last place you look. When you find something you’re looking for, you stop looking 😁

Brad its always the last place you look.. bc once you find it you stop looking for it😂
Sure looks nice. I just moved into a brand new home and I went with natural colors of nature not the ugly grays and black with white.
fix the chriping smoke arlam

Brad, I think your smoke detectors need batteries. But in reality I don't know if they are chirping in my house.
Someone please buy Brad a 9v battery for that smoke detector
Your job is stressful
How could all your subs be working in there and not address the smoke detector. Your slacking, Brad. Maybe you're better off making tornado updates at your place.
I’ve commented on it couple months ago back when they were doing a job walk through. Still not fixed.
The smoke detector alarm haunted me this entire episode
Smoke detector..
