Just want to say I've been showing every single new airball player this video for 2 years now and still do it atleast twice a week. We appreciate you homie!
I do this all the time with the door frame to my bathroom in front of the mirror. I thought I was the only one. It helps a lot with me fixing my form on snap shooting.
This is usually the 1st drill I suggest for new players. Can use the door frame & add sheets of paper to make the "bunker" bigger. I also tell them to have their gun "on but not aired up so that they can work on their trigger skills. Ramping wasn't around back when I played "seriously" but even now I'm shocked w/how many newer players don't/can't get 3 balls out in a snap.. Thanks for all your videos Greg! Your stuff is what all of paintball needs more of!
... I'm getting deja vu from my high school days of doing something like this to work on shooting both hands with a slide frame cocker. Being ambidextrous helped a lot, but the constant repetition helps tremendously developing muscle memory. Back then myself (and some team mates) would use one of those tall and narrow closet door mirrors propped up at the end of the hall while snapping in/out of a doorway or around a corner. Edit- something not mentioned in the video and I forgot to mention is to start slow and smooth. As you get more proficient, increase the speed.
great video. I actually started doing these concepts last week; down my hallway with a mirror, in the bathroom, as well as using my couch to snap and wrap to get used to crouching or kneeling snaps. keep it up!
Awsome video, something to do when I'm bored. I would like to shoot a suggestion out there, can you dona break down of field layouts of diffrent vendors, like SPL OR MVPS. Somthing that us lower level players will see
I do something very similar I have a hall way like thing in my house with tho indents to two different rooms and I just mount my phone camera on one and snapshoot at it and see how much i come out
Would it help if you have a giant piece of paper or something to cover the side where the bunker would be? So it isn’t all your reflection? I really like this drill.
Awesome video Greg amazing drill I think I'll be the best player after this lockdown cause of all the drills at home.😁 Could I possibly make a video request ?? Could you do some tips or something like that for 3 man events because over here in South Africa I can only really afford to 3 man so maybe some tips ? Thanks.
I have a very, very stupid question. If I do this drill and pull the trigger every time, am I going to mess with the microswitch? I recently picked up my first electric marker so I'm starting to get into paintball more, so at-home drills are actually viable to me now. Thanks, great video
Any tips on how not to waste paintballs with the Ctrl loader speed feed? I have switched back to the stock lid because using NTRL on the CTRl loader I always end up wasting balls
How To Play Paintball I was one of the few that got their Ctrl loader first, I put the NTR speed feed on. The speed feed needs to be locked “back” by pulling it towards the back of the gun when in the closed position. If not, when you break out and lift your gun too aggressively the NTR speed feed will pop open. Also when loading with pods , even when the loader is completely empty the loader will over fill and mountain up with balls because the balls aren’t pushing forward towards the front of the hopper. When I switched back to the stock lid no issues with NTR opening and the balls moutaining up
Strange. I’ve had it pop open a couple times doing drills. Maybe just check that the Katch is in there well. As for the reloading maybe tilt your gun forward a little when you put a pod in. I’m thinking it is stacking up in the back. That or be reloading while you shoot.
How To Play Paintball tried it all, so far the stock lid is just much better for me than NTR. The lid will lock as long as you pull the speed feed “back” towards you once the lid is closed. The mountaining of balls, yes it is backed up in the rear of the hopper, a lot of times when reloading I keep the gun pointing down lane, so I end up losing like 1/5th of the pod. I’ll practice again with the marker pointed down and see if it is any different . My pods hold 150 balls
If the loader isn’t completely empty that might be why. Not saying you should wait till then to reload! Haha! But reloading while shooting should help and also if you’re tucked in and can’t have your gun up, reloading with your hopper down a little might help.
@@Technotranceism I’d have to see what you’re talking about specifically. There are different views on how to snap. I’d say use what is quickest and most accurate for you.
@@howtoplaypaintball Basically what I am referring to, is the necessity to lean the hopper in while snapping out. Leaning your body slightly performing an obliques crunch, is fine. When the marker is out to fire, only the hopper and your mask should be exposed, and the hopper should be squared with the little bit of your mask you're actually exposing. Roll into the lean.
If i dare to play with my gun in from of the living room mirror ,ill be dead before i hit the ground my wife will kill me 🤣 good video greg stay safe everyone

Good way of putting it with start smooth. I mentioned the closing your eyes but that’s another great point to get into the rhythm.

Once we get the field layouts I am down to do that again!
Thank you so much for all the tips
Thanks for watching!
Nice thank you
Thanks for watching!
This is Awesome 👏🏻
Thanks! It helps a lot.

Good variation!
need this during quarantine lmao
believe it or not i did this during quarantine and when i hit the field my snap shots were alot faster and on point so it literally does help
Would it help if you have a giant piece of paper or something to cover the side where the bunker would be? So it isn’t all your reflection? I really like this drill.
That could be great too!

Like drills for a three man team?
Yesssss please and maybe a few tactical tips thanks.

No it should be fine.
I have a hall mirror. It is too close why over exposé myself on the field. I need more distance to learn how to keep tight form.
Even being closer how I am will help you. The idea of the drill is to get your muscle memory down for each type of bunker. Hope that helps!

Sorry I am confused what you mean by waste paint. Can you elaborate?

Do you have any drills I can do when I’m taking a long dump
squeezing could be good for core strength
How do you like the XTS? I have heard they are a bit unreliable.
Mine shot well but we are a DLX team. With any marker you need to just take care of it though and it’ll take care of you 👍
@@howtoplaypaintball thats good to hear! My current plan is to save a buy a 1seris M3+. cause why not XD
@@Jericho27 use what feels best to you!
theres gonna be that one person that airs up their gun with paint in it and shoots their mirror🤣😂
Lol I hope not!
same here lol hopefully not
Just curious if anyone knows, what the story behind the team name ML Kings?
The ML stands for Mělník which is a town in Prague. That’s where the team started.
Once you’re faster than the mirror you’re a pro.
Lol or having a stroke. One of the two :P
My advice, don't use the gangster lean when snapping out!
Lean with it rock with it! 😂
@@howtoplaypaintball It's a horrible habit. Exposes more of you, and throws balance off.

Thank you!
Ewwww ...a mac dev!!!!
The prime shoots awesome! You should try it out.
