    This is exactly me today😂 I tried to learn this riff and started over and over again like 1000+ times. It' still hard to play. Really admire your videos, they help me improve about boss rc 30. Have a nice day!

    Great tutorial-I found while looking for a riff tutorial for this song for small band I just started playing in...I play acoustic guitar so I don't have any pedals or anything, and the looper station you are using was pretty expensive ($200-$300 from what I found of google). Do you have any suggestions looper station wise for anything cheaper? I've been thinking about getting one for a while but I don't need anything too complicated.
    Thanks for the help!

    Do you think you'd be able to learn and do a tutorial of Take it Back/superstition/aint no sunshine?

  • @xxChaos97yelxx
    @xxChaos97yelxx 7 лет назад

    you can double tap the stop button while on the second track to conpletely stop all tracks playing. If you double tap and hold the stop button while on track 2 it will light up both tracks. if you play the track it will play both tracks. Its not a perfect stop all play all feature but its the closest thing with that pedal

    • @leetownsend
      @leetownsend  7 лет назад

      +xxChaos97yelxx Yeah, I occasionally use that method but sometimes there isn't enough time to get both tracks selected ready to come back in. Ed does it a fair bit where he'll drop the last bar out of a verse and drop the beat back in for example.

    This is fantastic! Thank you so much for taking your time to put this together I have wanted to learn this riff for ages and now it's with the loop it sounds brilliant. I'm in a bid for a JamMan Looper pedal right now. Do you think that is a solid pedal? It looks so much like the boss rc30!

    • @henry5137
      @henry5137 7 лет назад

      Update: I got out bid on the looper and looking to now buy the rc 30 to start looping! Hopefully I can start using it soon

    • @leetownsend
      @leetownsend  7 лет назад +1

      Unlucky man, I haven't looked into the JamMan pedal, I have to be honest. Just try to make sure you get one with 2 channels as single channel loopers are kind of limiting...

    • @henry5137

      Lee Townsend yes I know the boss is kind of difficult for switching loops but I don't think I'd afford the boss rc 300. I'm using the rc 30 at school so I'm practicing with that, I just want to get one for myself!

    • @leetownsend
      @leetownsend  7 лет назад

      +Henry The fact that your school has an RC-30 is mind blowing. When I was at school, we didn't even have a guitar most of the time. Kids kept "Pete Townshending" them on classroom tables... I may have broken one of them.

    double tap the right pedal to stop all mate, then if you hold the stop for 2second from the right channel it will select both channels

    If you press the right pedal twice it's stops all

    • @leetownsend
      @leetownsend  7 лет назад

      Yeah, I use this a fair bit to finish a song. The only thing I don't like is that the selected channel stops a split second before because the pedal recognises the first stop instantly. Does that make sense?

  • @benzoneofficial

    Dont you want to build a pedal similar to Ed Sheerans? It's really not that hard make one.

    • @leetownsend
      @leetownsend  7 лет назад

      I think the RC-300 would probably do the job. The only reason I haven't upgraded is it's size. It would potentially be cool to have one for RUclips purposes but my RC-30 is compact enough for live use. Have you built one yourself?

    • @leetownsend
      @leetownsend  7 лет назад +1

      In one of the edits, I did explain that my version isn't exactly the same as Ed's. It's possible that I cut that explanation out though. I fully expected somebody to have something negative to say though so cheers for getting that out of the way :)

    • @alex330ist
      @alex330ist 7 лет назад +3

      Listen dude I like your tutorials, but there is no reason to be mad about the comment he'd made . It isn't the riff which is true . Now I get it he missed out the part where you explained it wasn't the same version as Ed's but there is no need to be stuck up about it .
