Also most of madri punches were from over extended positions and off balance. as mardi was so keen on fighting cautiously that anything he threw he was going to ran away. thats why madri didn't even throw a single combo he was scared to engage the whole fight. Sometimes cautious fights look like a close fight. but this fight wasn't so close actually. It was the cautious fighting style that made it look close. Because in the 11rd and 12rd when both fighters engaged the most bud dominated. That was the benchmark who was the better fighter. Rematch isn't needed. Madrimov is not getting the respect he deserve. His style is very unique makes it hard to fight him. Crawford won the fight in my eyes clearly but their were ALOT of close rounds. Definitely a close fight but I had it 7-5 or 8-4.
it was close but also not really. it was only close because barely any punches were landed by both fighters and barely any thrown by madri. But the key thing is. The last two rds is the rds where they engaged the most. And who turned out to be better? bud by a clear margin. it is like watching two enemies stalk eachother for days, and people would say its a close battle. but then when they engaged who came out on top? thats when you know who was actually the better fighter.

Sometimes cautious fights look like a close fight. but this fight wasn't so close actually. It was the cautious fighting style that made it look close. Because in the 11rd and 12rd when both fighters engaged the most bud dominated. That was the benchmark who was the better fighter. Rematch isn't needed. Mardi said he would press more in a rematch but he didnt even press once the whole fight!
