I came across your channel in May when I did my first raw challenge and you gave me the push I needed.. what started as a three day challenge turned into the whole month of May and guess who’s juicing now.. me friend 😂 us over 50girls have to stay healthy thanks for the push, recipes and the healthy challenges I’m in❤Raw August!!

I started juicing but want to be consistent. Helen your arms are beautiful ! I will be 62 in 9 days and my arms are like flags and i am very self conscious. Raw nuts are the best! Or gain protein powder is great. I am a diabetic and i am trying so hard to be consistent, get off my medication . So i am down for the raw. Juice challenge . Do you eat other foods ? Or just juice? I just juiced celery, cucumbers, green apples, and kale with a little piece of ginger. That’s what I had on Sunday and today I had the same thing.
It’s important to buy with seeds. Also i keep my skin on when juicing . I am buying myself a kuving juicer for my birthday . August 8 is the big day for meeee

I definitely need a detox, fresh start, and new beginnings. The past few months, I have been stressed dealing with separating from my husband, nausea and vomiting (I lost 13 pounds...I already wore a 8/10). I've had to buy some new things (4 & 6's-tops and bottoms). Eating raw is just what I need... Let's do it! I'm ready
Stress is horrible on our bodies. I'm sorry that you are going through this at this time. I know that everything is for a reason. You need to take care of yourself. You are the only person who can make you happy. Get back to you . So sorry you're going through this..

Hi Helen, I am down with going /doing #RawAugust. I can not think of a more perfect gift to myself; I'll turn 56 on the 1st. I've been following u for many years now and have started and stopped so many times on my health journey. However, after watching one of ur videos at the beginning of July, u said just get started, dont wait for the 1st or a monday and I did. 3weeks of simply moving, getting outside and walking blasted off 15lbs. I didnt even change my diet.
While out on my walk earlier this evening, u crossed my mind (yes u r my friend/life coach in my head) I thought that I had better reach out to let u know just how much u motivated me and I am now doing the damn thing.
Due to heart disease, I couldnt walk more than 5 mins but I am walking 5 laps around a walk park twice a day (10k steps ea) every day and my 35 yo daughter can not keep up with me. I am even able to jog (albeit very slowly) the entire last lap and 125-200 jumping jacks. Since I am at a plateau, incorporating nutrition seems to be the next step. Let's get it! Hey Sis, I just stumbled on your channel or more than likely the algorithm heard me "think"👀 about doing a raw fast.
I just re-uped my fruits and veggies to work myself into the fast.
I have some mushrooms and tofu to finish and then it looks like it's all juice, smoothies and coconut water!
I never add mint to my juices. Thanks for the tip. It will help with digestion.
Just made carrot/ginger juice and kale smoothie. About to juice and cut up watermelon now

Its funny you are talking about raw eating cause I just started. My body is like ma’am give me all the nutrients. I wish we had watermelon for 6.00 and they have seeds🤯 the last one I purchased was 14.99 and the one before that 10.00 I’m like shoot we need the hook up on the watermelon. Clearly we getting robbed on the watermelon over here in Florida 😤

I’m in been doing one meal a day around one o’clock and juicing and water all throughout the day my one meal is about 90% raw.
I'm going to try doing raw. Maybe for a week. This will be my 1st time😊
1 month late for me. Coming to the end of 30 day fruit fast. I’m ready to eat food.
I tried juicing several times, but it’s never agreed with my gut. Tasty, but I can only drink 1 glass here and there. I don’t have a problem with smoothies however.
I also find it odd that people don’t like watermelon. 😂🤣😂

Short term challenges boost serotonin and dopamine levels. You feel accomplished, achieve goals and just feels good. I think a might join you. I need to reset my gut health and boost my immune system. Nothing is wrong with cheat meals and cheat days. Life is about balance.

Greetings Helen . I am new to your channel . I am doing more juicing and smoothies . I understand what you are saying . I have to keep telling myself consistency is key. What do you put in your ryze, coffee ? I am a creamer holic. I started using less creamer in my coffee .

That Ryze I can't get pass the smell so I drink four stigma it's so much better
