One of your best vlogs yet! We loved the Sunsets, shopping, meeting old friends, and the thunderstorm! Eloise still does not understand the concept of "catch and release". As we do here in the Pacific Northwest when trout fishing.
Well that was a vlog that covered just about everything Julie! Fantastic sunsets (captured beautifully); storms that seemed to go on forever; kingfishers, good sized bream (well caught Martin) and lots of ducks; meeting friends; getting the chores done and a farm shop that had my mouth watering! Thank you both so much ❤. A very well deserved 10K subscribers 😊. Take care, stay safe until the next time.
The reflection on the water (#7) makes me think of the Pearl Tower in Shanghai. I have to say, the views and sunsets.in this video were spectacular. I so enjoy watching!

Hi Julie and Martin, lovely seeing a video from around here. You should have seen it here during the storm last weekend, considerably amount of flooding but thankfully it has drained away now. I will be in the canal side shop tomorrow for some groceries. I will look forward to seeing your video on Monday. Lots of love to you both, have a wonderful weekend
Pleased you included the fishing, nice Bream Martin ! N B Halsall-ex BWB until 1971 then Three Fellows Carrying (Leicester)with butty Aboyne until 1992. 😊Loved the sunset and the storm wasn’t bad either!
Lovely vlog 🎉😊 thanks for sharing. Brings back memories of a trip and overnight stay I did some time back at Tixall Wide - stay safe and enjoy your adventures 😊

Wow Julie this takes us back to our time with you at Great Haywood. You do such a great job editing all your footage and making a really professional viewing. Loved the lightening storm
Wow sunset no 7 was spectacular. Not sure I'd have been so happy to see and hear the thunder and lightening overhead. Wonderful tempting farm shop , best I've seen in YT so far I think
What a great video getting woke up with pump out coal diesel nice to see you keep tanks full and sunsets to die for my curtains are shut keeping home nice and warm so don't see sunsets they were lovely I love to go to a farm shop but none near me to walk to glad you doing two a week as your miles behind don't seem one year since last service but it's a year or 250 hours per service so if you traved a lot you could 4 or five services a year because its cold this week poor poppy been limping bless her but see never moans wish humans were like that stay warm and dry let's have some winter cooking meals I love some ideas for winter
We love it at Great Haywood and around Tixal Did you manage to get to Shugbrough Hall? Slightly easier from round on the T&M. We managed to get locked out of our boat at Great Haywood last summer and had to break in. Fortunately (?) it was actually quite hard!
That was a helluva storm 😱. Amazing thunder and lightning. Sunsets were brilliant. Question - most narrow boaters I’ve watched seem to be able to moor at most 2 nights in one location - does it vary be location? The food in the cafe looked 👍👍. Martin is so cute at times when he goofs a bit for the camera. You’re a sweet couple 🥰
Those sunsets would make great slow TV footage - with symphony music. Also the storm -( have had a CD storm/ music). Better than the boring rubbish that they try to convince us is great viewing 😵💫😡. With added geese❤ !! And also congratulations Martin on successful fishing - great to see them go back - can u eat them? -or would they taste muddy? Confined ( canal) waterway? Thanks Jan Adelaide

Red sky at night sailors delight. Red sky in the morning sailors take warning! Thank you for the beautiful pictures!

I love just sitting out under the covered porch and watching the lightshow during thunderstorms, just have to watch out for tornadoes.

Hi guys, as continual cruisers how often do you generally need to refuel? Wow, that was great footage of the storm xx
They put shellac or carnuba wax on apples and lemons to make them shiny

Spoilt for choice with those sunsets. Hope you've been surviving the storms okay

did they charge you extra for the fly sprinkles on the latte?
With all that rain I would have had a bucket or to out to collect water rather than move outside during it. But that is me, lazy and ornery.
i would of fried it for tea
Do you know if any barges have been struck by lightning
I thought sunset number 2 was a nuclear bomb explosion.
