Probably all time favorite game if I sit down and really think about what influenced my idea of what a good game is. Loved the elements and weapon system with magic, it was sublime.

@@EvilSaigon I found this fight harder than lavos personally. Mind lavos was defeated later in life, and I was but a wee lad for the egg, with pops help of course. But uhm, lavos is pretty straight forward with gimmicks. And this takes some knowledge of game mechanics.. this is at the very least.. an 11
Plan your massive combo attack, make sure you have all the skills you need. Get all the support spells you need like Soul Hymn, Reviva, Guardian Beast, etc.

one of my favorite games, loved it when the final bosses to the games were hard and not a cakewalk.

So like on a scale of 1-10 1 being Safer Sephiroth from FFVII and 10 being Lavos from Chrono Trigger how hard is this fight?
I'd say 8. But like most saga games, if you know what you're doing, it is manageable.
