My wife thinks I'm nuts, listening to Live ATC watching Flight Radar 24 and running outside whenever a plane goes overhead! But this is awesome, well done.
Wow, I actually saw this from the ground on that very day! I was at Griffith University Nathan Campus and spotted SQ255 on its normal approach vector, only to be surprised 15 minutes later by the same aircraft flying in from the east with its gear down and lower in altitude. Great video!
I don't usually watch whole approach and landing videos but this one was something speciel. The lightning, flexing wing and the seat you had made me watch this several times... Such a beautiful aircraft and good video. :)
Fantastic video! Lovely lighting, great approach. A go-around, which I hope to experience one day, and the ATC communication was the icing on the cake. A pity you didn't film to the gate.
I recently had a go around in an aeromexico flight at Mexico city due the president airplane was in front of us and didn't vacate the runway in time. It was beautiful
nice video! i was on a thomas cook a330-200 from helsinki to phuket with my family and the weather in phuket was quite turbulent and bad visibility and raining and i was seated in the middle seat in the middle of the plane and i could not see out of the window because we were in the clouds and we were preparing for landing when the trent 700 engines spooled up to full power and the plane pitched up and first i was like... ok what?... and then i realised we were going around and it was my first time on a go around but we landed after about 15 minutes later and a really smooth landing too! :)
Very Similar happened to us : 30.3.16 QF649 arrival in Brisbane at 2.50pm. Except we were lower when we had to turn around - seemed the engines were screaming to get back up. (seemed loud to us....) We banked to the left and I saw under us a small (Qantas link) plane taking off and bank toward the right. Felt safe and I wasn't alarmed.
Man I had one of the best espresso martinis I’ve ever had when I was connecting in Brisabane to Caines on my honeymoon. It was also 10Am and I was supposed to have a direct flight from Sydney to Caines but it got cancelled…. Maybe it was so I could experience that espresso martini lol.
Excellent video. One question...at what point in the video do they receive their landing clearance? I can't seem to find it. Thanks for the amazing videos!
Thank you very much :) The ATC was taken off airlive.net which records ground, tower, approach and departures all on one feed so some audio gets cut off. However I don't think we got clearance to land as there was an aircraft on the runway however we would have got permission to continue the approach as we turned onto finals
Thanks for the response. One question. How did you put the Signapore airlines logo in the video? I also use I movie V10 just wanted to ask because I thought it seemed pretty cool.
Nice vid, I had the same go round due to wet runway in WSSS, it was SQ246 on A330-300 rego#: 9V-STA Captain Max Fo. BTW can anyone explain the noise at 14:29 , I heard that a lot from A330/340 during taxiing, what noise is that? Cheers!
that is the reversers closing, and yes your asking but don't they close the reversers at 60knots? yes they do but they leave the reversers on IDLE until they turned left or right on taxiway, so that noise is the Reversers closing.
Had to take a go around today on a cessna, haha but the cotroller confused me a little, asked for a left circuit first, then when i started the left turn she asked for a right circuit, haha funny thing
Yesterday the pax dor opened in the takeoff roll, my passenger couldnt close the door so i had to take it downwind for the same runway, the problem was that the radio wouldnt silence for one moment so i could tell the tower

yep and the planes are usually 15,000 ft when they go over me but I still get excited
gazstaf last
Sameeee
I love how you can hear the frustration in the ATC's voice. Nicely done, thanks for the transcript as well.
love the sound of the flaps going down at 1:03
listen to a340 swiss takeoff . the flaps before it taxing
I love the a350s

Very nice edited with the ATC and captions! Great video, mate!
I have to say, this is probably the best video I've ever seen on RUclips, massive like!
Thanks for the kind words mate!
Awesome work mate! That would of been such an amazing experience!
*would HAVE been
Amazing vlog, very good transcript. The 330 is a beautiful plane
Fantastic video! Lovely lighting, great approach. A go-around, which I hope to experience one day, and the ATC communication was the icing on the cake. A pity you didn't film to the gate.
Thank you for watching, the taxi to the gate was another 10 minutes so I decided against filming the entire time.

Awesome indeed. Great Video.
Great video! This is how a go-around should be firmed! Also great match between the ATC and video!
Nice video! Love how we can hear from the ATC. Amazing landing! Pilot must be very skillful.
Amazing work mate! this much of been an exciting experience for you, the landing was great. Anyway i huge like from me :)
Very nice onboard video! The go-around was very interesting! Huge like!
great video and audio - seemed like a very neat landing
Good landing. I had a same experience in Japan, when I was on an airplane.
What a fantastic video ↗️🔥❤️🐐
Awesome footage man. Thanks for sharing with AATC sync, it was great

Fantastic video as usual, A big like! Loved the Go around and ATC!
Awesome
Love these
Awesome Video It was Awesome to watch! What a thrill to experience a 'Go Around' On a A333! Quick question how did u record the ATC???
Thank you, I got the ATC after the flight from liveatc.net and just added it in when editing. Thanks for watching!
Awesome! Did u have buy the ATC from the website?
Nope. Go on their website, select ATC Audio Archives on the side. Then select the tower/frequency, date and time (UTC) and save it.
Ok Thanks mate!
liveatc.net but unfortunately there's no NZ transmissions on there because of the way the law is set up in NZ

wow nice landing and awesome go-around!
I think what happened was that the atc let an aircraft go in front of you which ment that it got away to slowly and you couldn't land.
Very interesting video mate! Liked :D
Great catch of this go round.
Amazing video!! Thanks for sharing with us!
Filming inside for a go around is rare and how did you get ATC for this video.
Well done.
Thanks Philip, I got ATC from liveatc.net
Great video! Too bad you didn't catch the 2nd approach/landing clearance.
Really nice landing, wow
Great job mate! Is that your first time on a "go around"?
Thanks/ This was first go around, such an exciting experience. According to spotters we were close to having a second go around!
Wow!
Great video mate!! :)
Yes, I would like to see the 777X-9
Nice video! Como tiembla el ala !! Like

Woow! Great video :D Damn 737 haha.
The worst part was go around but it has a smooth and very soft landing
Awesome video! Loved the ATC included! :) One question, what do you use to edit your videos?
Thank you :) Edited in iMovie v10
Thanks for the response. One question. How did you put the Signapore airlines logo in the video? I also use I movie V10 just wanted to ask because I thought it seemed pretty cool.
Download it as a .png add it into the movie (over the existing clip) and select picture in picture mode.
Ok gotcha. Thanks! :)
Experienced this back in 2014 due to heavy traffic..
I must admit its scary to see outside a plane window a familiar landmark a bit too low to be on landing. Can be a bit scary.
I like hearing Brissy or Melbourne..

Go Around??
Awesome!
Can I please use it
how did you get atc?
ATC was downloaded off liveatc.net and added in whilst editing.
Had to take a go around today on a cessna, haha but the cotroller confused me a little, asked for a left circuit first, then when i started the left turn she asked for a right circuit, haha funny thing
Interesting, I'm doing my training for my pilots licence and am starting circuit training in a few weeks.
Yesterday the pax dor opened in the takeoff roll, my passenger couldnt close the door so i had to take it downwind for the same runway, the problem was that the radio wouldnt silence for one moment so i could tell the tower
152 for now, i will take the check on the 172 both 160hp and 180hp when i can
Cant wait, alot more power
That’s clever
The pilots didn't explain the go around?
Listen at 7:04 the captain said why the go around occurred, I also added subtitles.
+Dat Plane Guy looks like i missed it out, thanks and it is a great vid! 😊
