Ariana Orlando You can usually find Balut in places like "Seafood City" which is pretty much a huge Filipino grocery/food chain or any smaller asian (mainly filipino) businesses. Usually it is raw but it's really easy to cook (just look up on YT for directions) MAD props for accepting there are other cultures w/ different types of food AND also willing to try before judging, especially something as unusual as Balut & something that is ESPECIALLY not considered the norm in the West. (assuming that's where you live) I've tried to convince non-filipino to at least try the yolk but many were either too scared (which is fine) or many considered it "cruel" as they eat steak & ribs (Not fine) P.S. when boiling it, you do need to make sure that you do NOT over cook b/c the "broth" will dry up :D

I'm sure many respected their choice for not eating the baby bird. I have eaten balut multiples times when I was younger. I don't think ill eat them now though. Eating younger animals make me feel diffent now. Especially when there are so much other food I have access to now.

Think about all the meats that you have consumed in your whole life. Somehow eating a duck embryo is gonna change that fact? Just because you're sheltered from where your food come from doesn't mean everyone else around you is. I seen orphan so fucking hungry they would pick up scrap from street stall and vendor and eat it like it is a feast.
Josh and Byron rocked this challenge. And Julia was the only girl to try everything so props to you. And Geo and tiff didn't try everything but i still have to give you props because I would not of been able to eat all of the food either.
