Pretty sure rupture is just saying that it will deal the damage that most counters the enemy armor type. So, if enemy has light armor, rupture will be pierce, if fortified it will be siege, if divine it would be chaos

on 1.6/7 beast is a VERY solid class, my personal build is harpy1, ogre 2-3, another harpy for 4 and another 2 ogres for 5, that will hold lvl 6 then you can save for spawn lvl7 and pretty much solo the game with income, doesn't hold boss though
