The Philippines is honestly still underrated as hell for how beautiful it is and how many things you can do with friends there. From hiking, canyoneering in some of the best waterfalls in Cebu, Island hoping in Palawan. It's ridiculous. The only thing missing I would say are psychedelic retreats. I feel like it would be perfect for Ayuhuasca / Mushroom trips, but there's still a stigma in that part of the world.
I’ve been watching other foreigners’ blogs about trips to Coron or El Nido, but yours is special. You took more time for the people behind the trips. So glad you did this, it showed the fun created by these men and made the tourist feel comfortable while enjoying the beauty of that part of the Philippines, the world’s number 1 tourist beach destination, Palawan. I only visited Palawan once, as an educator, few years back and we're treated to experience the underground river, and that was it. There's no substitute to the beauty of nature like beaches with clear water, mountains, rock formations, etc. Very therapeautic and relaxing. Bless u bro. Cheers!!!
One of the best thing about Filipino is even though they not go to school they can still communicate in English and some of them are fluent in that language. It is surely part of their culture
Correction: Some. Locals may not be able to experience going to school, but still they are able to communicate in English . Sa sinabi mo kasi nilalahat mo ang pinoy. Don’t you know that literacy rate is high in the country. Kaya nga BPO capital ang pinas dahil magaling tayong mag English.
I am Filipino..I have.lived on my cpuntry all my life.Thanka for sharing this.I know it's a bit pricey for locala like me.But I still wish I can have that.five day cast away experiience in our remote islands in our tropical paradise country.

Most Filipinos went to school, we know English because school is taught exclusively in English even if this isn't the language we use at home 😵💫
