Referring to the broken drawer, you are absolutely correct...it could happen at any store. I have furniture from hobby lobby that I bought 10 years ago and it's in tip top shape. Still beautiful and functional.

CPWM furniture was medium quality, not very hard wearing if you have kids or rambunctious teens, usually the wood is either 'tropical hard wood' acacia wood or MDF Medium Density Fibre-board, HL quality looks to be for a gentler market, ie, mature customer base that will be careful with their things, depending on the piece and the manufacturer has a lot to do with the quality and lifespan of a piece of furniture. More expensive isn't always better, That's Why We Shop . LOL !! Thanks for this fun adventure, always a good time !!

Yeah some people do grab from the front but you got to be careful because they face forward like all stores they bring all the outdated stuff up front so people grab from them first

I can find a lot of things at Hobby Lobby and they always has stuff on sale. When I go to Home Goods I don’t find a lot and they don’t have a lot on sale.

I don't think any of the furniture is actually wood. I believe it's MDF.

I have a table from hobby lobby & its 100% wood... all their furniture is made from 100% natural wood..no MDF at all..of course unless it’s specifically a metal piece of furniture...
I’ve touched their “wood” pieces, it’s definitely generic like particle board. I’d only buy it on clearance.
Mdf is heavy I think the wood is probably pine which is a light weight wood. I use to have several 100% pine furniture pieces when I was younger.

It’s definitely not particle board, I believe it’s pine..& it’s unfinished..I have a table from them & you can see the knots in the wood
