This video, as well as the second one for the cross bar, were clear and very helpful. I bought and installed mine and had no troubles on my 2016 Pilot. Particularly your mentioning to cut the track slightly longer and seeing how it fit for you helped me feel comfortable before putting the hacksaw to my own trim.
Actually you do need some silicon or glue for the short piece of cover, i lost my piece somhow and i already throw away the left over long part: ( at this moment it is left uncovered!
Thank you for your video helped me to installed mine. I was able to put the washers by pushing down and tight one without the washer first, then put the second with the washer and tighten that one down, takedown the first one out put the washer and tighten back.
