I know the devs said figure got in door 100 by side paths but i want to contribute this cool theory. Curios light helps the Figure species because they are neutral.They don't want to kill or help us:they just want to survive.In game figure kills us because he thinks we are a threat.
You may notice when figure got in The Mine It's Actually Not Another Figure Because Don't You Remember We Get In Elevator Exit On That Cutscene From Floor 1 aka DOOR 100

it’s obvious how figure got in the mines though, if you look at the ending from another angle, you can actually see that midway through the cutscene, after igniting the sparks, figure tumbles into a nearby shaft
There are more halls in the hotel than the halls player took. Door 50 has a window that figure could jump out of, and we’ve seen figure do this in door 100. Guiding light also calls figure “THE figure”.
So actually in the hotel, there is broken rooms with flesh in it, that shows that figures actually goes to the room to get to the electrical room, and when he fell in the ending he probably fell into a vent that he climbed into and showed up in doors floor 2 so actually I think there is one figure who is just very smart.😊
In the electrical room there’s remains of figure where he”spawns” but I believe that was just the moment he transformed into the so called “figure”. And in door 50 there’s none. So I believe probably in (Mines+ or Castle+) update we might see a queen or king figure. Because there’s so many remains of figure in (The Mines) and your theory about giggle might actually be true… i think curious light is trying to make a Queen or King figure. But it seems he didn’t succeed in killing the Queen grumble or other grumbles. We know that Guiding light is helping us so mischievous light might be trying to do the opposite but I’m not too sure about curious light. I believe mischievous light is evil because we have guiding light who helps us and we have curious light who is locked up in the rooms. Meanwhile the other “lights” are pretty much free in doors and the mines but they don’t have as much power as curious light does. And your theory that curious light might be the “King” of the castle leads me to believe that mischievous light tried to defeat curious light but failed so mischievous light sealed curious light up in the rooms. So far guiding light has been helping us to survive like if he wants us to save curious light or perhaps something else. I’m still not sure who created these monsters and why. But all I know is whatever it is guiding light needs our help to defeat “it” and my theory is that mischievous light created these monsters mischievous light can add modifies to the game to make it easier or harder so my theory is that “mischievous light” created them for some sort of a purpose. (I’ll keep updating this until my theory’s unfortunately ends…) [anyone who read all this thx for reading it and it would be nice if I got a like]
in guiding light’s message, he says “You died to who you call *The* Figure” now i know in lore that the player gives the entities their names, but guiding light says *the* figure not *a* figure. i believe that if there were more than one figures, he’d say “you died to *what* you call *a* Figure” kinda like how it is with grumbles in floor 2 i could be wrong but it’s just a detail

I feel the most logical and simplest answer is that the void or glitch teleports him. Anything other than this is way to speculative like if you look at the theory in the video we assume a lot of stuff. Edit: another person has the exact same theory and commented earlier I promise I didn’t know of it’s existence till now. I promise I had this theory for a long time.

We saw him 5 times, not 3 times. First is library Second is electrical Three is figure being downstairs on 110-115 Four is figure in 120-125 Five is figure in 160-185
@@ramnarain8145having the figure encounter at door 190 would be close to impossible since 5 doors after that would be the seek chase and seek never actually spawns that close to figure. At most he would spawn 10-25+ doors after Figure.
This is a good theory but I can disprove it, the figure can move between door 50 and door 100 with alternate paths that players can’t see/ use. I assume the same for how he gets to the mines. He was always supposed to have the spotlight they just added it in hotel +
The soul/spirit manifesting in us is guiding light. The soul/spirit in figure is most likely curious light, which explains the spotlight, and the soul/spirit in seek is red light, although I'm 99% sure that seek was literally formed by the red light's power. Curious light may also manifest in us because of the yellow death screens. Figure might also be able to "reproduce" with each other, which may explain the theory. Curious light/void might have teleported figure around to help defeat the player. Edit: I'm 99% sure figure still had a spotlight in the electrical room before hotel +, but if not, the devs prob didn't want to reveal the appearance of curious light just yet.
Funny thing, I also had the same theory a couple of days ago, but the flesh puddles generate both more figures and dupes. The reason i said dupes was because of the room you see after you crucify one. Its made from fleshy like stuff similar to figures flesh, and there can be multiple dupes in one room

this actually makes sense there are more figures because if we use a holy bomb grenade on him in the library in the super hard mode, another fully functional figure appears
I have a theory that connects to the architects theory I made So when I said that Curious Light is actually the player it can only make sense because the player opens the door to the Rooms and the first floor (from the backdoor). If the Curious Light isn't the player then how come the player can travel dimensions? The player is the only one who can actually activate the portals unlike Guiding Light. The only time we actually see an architect pass through dimensions is the Mischievous Light (A-60). This brings me to 3 conclusions. 1. The player (if Curious Light is the player) is continuously trying to free himself from Doors but Mischievous Light is trying to trap the player because this is Curious Light's last resort. 2. The player has no resemblance to the Architects whatsoever. 3. The architects was actually one primary architect on its own split into the 3 Architects we have now. This makes sense because there wasn't any main resemblance to Rush or Void or Glitch. The Reason I said that was because they didn't have any main color resemblance. Now, what about Ambush? Ambush emits a greener glow by mixing Curious Light and Guiding Light. But why is it evil? Well because before release Ambush emitted a redder color rather than the green one we see today. Conclusion: To conclude, the architects were one main architect (that can actually tell us how Curious Light got locked up) and that not just the player can travel through dimensions. The Primary Architect theory can be looked further into by examining the actions of the entities such as Rush, Void, Glitch Ambush and Eyes (Ambush is a mixture of Curious and Guiding Light and Eyes is a mixture of Guiding and Mischievous Light).

I don't think there's 3 figures, as we can see at the elevator ending in floor 1 the figure falls to the mines, which can mean 2 things: we go upper and upper or he just fall from a huge hole and finished into some tubes and whit that he hears us and falls to try to get us but he can't see and falls where we go after.
There is a El gribino ( idk how to spell) that says something like this " that mucho meat dudë is normally not down here I think he followed you" so that means the figure is usually only in the hotel and he is really not supposed to be in the mines.
There is only 1 figure, and this is because he can walk from door 50 to door 100 first off the devs said figure knows the layout of the hotel and can traverse through also the hotel is a puzzle and I think the guiding light is causing the doors that makes us always progress through the hotel and also the rooms with figure stuff usually happen in one room then another room 3 to 10 doors down, meaning either he can teleport or guiding light is making the hotel weird and puzzling, and so the guiding light only follows us so that means figure could just go around us where the guiding light is not there to get to door 100. And if your still wandering about how he gets through the mines, he comes out of the vent or sewers or something like that meaning he moves through the vent, and I think that means he’s also guided by the meat because we see this meat in the mines and in the hotel, and he’s always where the meat is. so you could argue that he creates the meat and there’s multiple of them that way, but I think this is created by something bigger, something we don’t know about that could be in the castle or beyond so, that’s my theory at least. And that’s why I think there’s only one figure, I got a lot of these ideas from cheddar balls and his video “figure is smarter than you think.”
i think this maybe be true, cuz when we go into door 111-112-113-114 we see figure jumping out from the pipe, but at door 121-122-123-124, we see figure standing away, and at somewhere at door 153-194 we see figure jumping from a went or the pipe.
Using this logic my theory on rush ambush and screech so when rush passes us he can’t just dissapear so he must go million miles and hour so like a bugati to door 100 and same with ambush and screech must go through the floor using goo and the little giggle makes tunnels through the goo but he does it so fast we can’t even notice and where figure comes out of in the door 100 cutscene that’s were he is holding hostage all the entity’s like rush screech ambush and maybe more but this is only a theory A GAME THEORY (soz matpat)
You do realise the devs confirmed he does just walk to door 100, by this using alternate paths through boarded up doors and stuff? And we literally see ruined rooms, once again confirmed to be made by figure. And he probably didn't fall all the way down the window, probably grabbing onto a wall or something from the outside of the hotel, before using his arms to navigate to the LITERAL FLAMES!!! Also I'm pretty sure flicking little switches would make fairly loud sounds and vibrations, letting him get to you, and he jumps down the elevator with us in that mines and uses vents and pipes to navigate through there.
So while I do believe there ARE multiple figures, I believe you're right for all the wrong reasons. Also, we don't "know" that curious light is the highest ranked celestial, and it is most likely quite the contrary, as he is being told information, whereas if he was the highest ranked he most likely would know this already. Also, we see G.L. can literally highlight items, and while you COULD say it was just C.L. being lazy, It makes more sense that he just can't do that. And if you say "well the crucifix doesn't work in rooms!" That's because you are in a completely different area, most likely too far away from G.L. to access any of their powers. And we know that M.L. can subdue G.L, so it wouldn't make sense that C.L. can overpower something that can overpower something that can overpower him, if that makes sense. Also, dead Grumbles most likely get corrupted by seek, thrown out of the nest, eaten, or just covered by rocks and landslides, rather than be made into figures. They literally have different skin tones! Also let me correct myself from ealier, there probably WAS multiple figures, but now there is only one left, the one we know and hate. Or love, I don't judge. This is because of his special roar. If he kills something, a giggle or clock or you, he roars, most likely to let other figures know, "its dinnertime!" But we never once see multiple figures at once, so they most likely died out, leaving only our current one as their only predecessor. And to think they served C.L, the "king" of the castle? His light is a natural ability to lure glooms into his mouth and he move around the hotel by taking side paths and in the mines he craws through the vents
In one of El Goblino’s text, he says that the figure was not in the mines ever until we brought it here. So that means that There probably only one figure. And it can climb in vents as we saw in door 110-115.
The devs said when figure falls off in door 100, hes stronger and knows more about the hotel so he can easily travel through scratched, broken, or blocked up doors where the player cant open
One problem didnt mention that either while we were in a sub floor like rooms or going in basement in courtyard he couldve ran to 100 and thats why we didnt hear him cuz we were in a position where we couldnt Second theory while we were ahead he couldve jumped out the window and ran to the electrical room that would also explain why he got back to the door so quickly cuz he kniws the way from the first time last theory dupe and fogure are connected cuz of theyre meat just like how in dupes room he has a hole goes from room to room under the flesh theyre could be a hole that figures flesh could transport from ok thats it if theyre is something else u want to correct me from just say and ill respond
When you said in the video that it has gone from a ww2 era motel, to an industrial revolution mine system, and then to a medieval castle, do you think that as the levels progress we will get to the point where you met Jesus and Jesus ends up saving you in the Game? I think this is a cool theory.
when we fight figure at the end of floor 1 we can see that he peeks out of a corner which has a meat puddle in it, so that could mean he teleported through it
figure is confirmed to be able access secret areas and passages that player cannot see/ access. He is also nimble, explaining how he traverses the vents
when we get out the backdoor and the rooms [a-1000 or exit door] we see that were back in the hotel but if you look bsck theres a portel so my thoery is that curious light uses a big portel for figure to go places and he can even make stuff like the barrel of starlight and sub lvls

The devs told us that figure walks to door 100 with his own path. And you literally see figure enter the mines with in the ending cutscene of floor 1, you know, because they the one to make you enter the mines in the first place.
The figure probably gets to door 50 by teleporting to one of the rooms with flesh puddles in it after door 50 and mischievous light is guiding him to the library and the one who locked the library.

My theory for the floor 2 one, the figure passed in that hole, and possibly found something and crawled through it and fell down deeper into the mines exploring, and the flesh puddles, what if figures, more figures were modeled? Into figures
I think that figure is a kind of creature that isn't a "social" being so it stays at about 50 rooms away from another figure. They hunt for themselves and the spotlight is yellow which resembles guiding light. The piles of flesh may be where figure has thrown all of its victims and where maybe curios merges them. But, well who knows?
The way Figure got into the mines was at the end of Floor 1 he jumped onto the elevator and tore off some bolts and then we can barely see him fall back into another cave. So what I am guessing is that he found a tunnel in the cave and then followed it and made his way to the meat room.
Theroy: I think that those flesh meats that you see in the eletricial room are just a other dead version of figure, i mean Figure is made from flesh and meat. If you look at those its the same but no bones, so this probably means figure can get a second body, it just has to grow.
As we know, figure does have Curious Light controlling them. My theory is that Curious Light is infected by the Rooms and Backdoors entities, but one side is good, one side is bad. God ( curious light ) and the angel (guiding light) met up in the hotel once and decided to check the library. They saw a tall walking figure will meat,flesh,and bones. He was totally blind, so the god and angel coundnt make a sound. Suddenly, A black goo monster rises from the floor (this is not a new monster, this is Seek.) With a red light on the monsters body was a devil consuming Curious lights internal light. A big piece of pastel yellow light cut off from Curious Lights body and went into the monster with flesh(Figure) Instead of going for its mouth, it went for the ears. Still, Curious Light continues to have one of her best parts of light into a monsters body, and Mischevous light has been doing it all along. Once, a player had tried to see if this hotel was good or not. He was a kind of gangster dude, From Costa Rica. He didn’t know what was happening until there was a brown, wood cross that was surrounded with… red. This was Mischevous Light, the one who made God infect Figure. And when the crucifix was active… He be came both a skeleton and… El Goblino. Seriously, El goblino didn’t know how this happened, or why there was a skeleton in front of him. He knew what to call him for now, that’s when Bob began. Once going through door 52, he saw a black mist. And… there was a soul inside bob, well, of course, but it was a gangsters color: Black. Suddenly, eyes popped out from the mist. El goblino was shocked. He hadn’t known what to do. And then, it happens. Part 2 Coming in next video!!! Only people who are chapter readers can read this. If Curious Light did make Figure, then I wonder if they made a super Figure for floor 3? Also, I wonder why the crucifix doesn’t turn yellow when we use it on Figure?
They said that he used outer paths, maybe he stumbled into the electrical room and we see that figure drops down from door 100 where he went in cutscene, so he probably got there to the mines, an explanation around him moving through 122ish to door 175 ish, maybe he somehow went into that tube and crawled through and came by accident, because he is blind so he has no idea where to go, and just goes wherever he can. And guiding light said the figure, not a figure. A grumble death says a grumble, as others have also said. Also, he always had the light, whenever he did the closet looking the light would show, in the mines update its always on. So those are a few things that go against the video that might prove it wrong.
There is one thing that disproves the curious light theory helping the figure. In rooms you are helping curious light escape from the rooms and backdoors. Into the hotel, so that can’t really make sense.
my theory is if seek can go everywhere in his goop, maybe figure made by fleshs so he can teleport another flesh puddles with that (like transforming fleshs to figure)
There only two other ways i can make up, figure and glitch teamed up, and glitch teleported figure into door 100, and and he simply probably just fell into a vent room, because we can remember him rolling into a different room during the end of the game cutsence while the elevator fails, and guiding light mentions "The Figure" when you die The is mostly used describing one thing in grammar.
Fun fact, Figures are spread as dead bodies that were dead 300 years ago. Bob was gonna use his skin to make another fugue so Bob can also be a figure. He only wants to eat. There’s 3 types of figures, Librarian, engineer, and Janitor, because look closely btw if u wanna know why
i think that after door 50 theres usually a rush between door 51 and door 55. i think that rush took the figure to door 100. then when we went to the end elevator the figure jumped into a mineshaft and started exploring it. the flesh in the ground is probably what he eats
Figure goes through different routes to get to door 100 then once he gets out the window you can see that the window leads to the door and the electrical puzzle made sound so he heard us and broke through the door then you can see he fell off the elevator and he could of fell into the first room we see him in floor 2 then from that room he follows where we went through a different route and ended up Where door 120-130 is then he could go to a different route and get to door 155-180
My theory: Da theory is The Figure literally just was wandering around the hotel and knew where we were and then he came across a library. He choosed to go in the library where he thinks that it is its home. Then he got enraged after you escaped the library so he went to the courtyard and then he went into the basement then (warning: this is kinda disgusting) puked out his shitty meat and then just found a way out of the basement and a short cut to Door 100.Then he again gets enraged because you escaped him again and then he jumps down hoping he can finally eat you. I think, first off Figure put the lock on the library so his prey cant escape, and from a cheddar balls video, we can determine that Figure starts shedding his exposed skin tissue, and if you go into the courtyard basement, Figure's skin is there explaining how he gets to door 100 from 50. I think Figure has no correlation to Gloombats or giggles because Figure is made of exposed tissue. As well thinking about it, how does Curious light spawn Figure from Grumbles and I think when a Grumble dies, the queen eats it with the skeleton, but I think Curious light is not trapped into rooms, because you can see it in front of the rooms door. Well how would Curious light be able to do all this creating these Figures needing alot of strength to make it possible, so I think curious light has help, a partner to make them stronger or someone we havent seen yet. It would also make sense because why else would there be rotting flesh piles in the courtyard basement where we cant see him walking. With the rotting flesh with flies on it, it would be impossible for it to be figure flowing from. Unless those flies around the flesh piles are Gloombats ans it would be why Figure tries to eat them.
Here is my theory on the figure. It was originally from the mines, and my reason for thinking that is number one, many cave creatures in the real world are blind and rely on echo location. Number two, we see that it eats gloom bats, and the spotlight that it produces is just an evolutionary ability to lure in gloom bats, as the gloom bats attempt to destroy any light they see, and thus many would just fly into the figures mouth. I would guess the spotlight is actually a bioluminescent acid, seeing as the figure does not have an esophagus, it may digest the meals it eats directly in it's mouth. Eventually, the figure is not able to sustain itself upon gloom bats anymore, and so it goes into the library looking for new prey. it settles in the library where many people wander in. The figure locks it's self in the library, as it is very intelligent, and traps any unfortunate people that wander in. If I had to guess, it only digests it's prey after it kills it all, which is why if you are in multiplayer and someone dies their body will go undigested. After escaping, you enrage the figure, who would take the side door in room 49 to access inaccessible parts of the hotel. You can see one of the rooms it might have gone through in the courtyard basement, as the room is filled with the fleshy figure meat (idk what else to call it) and that's how it got to door 100. After you escape by the elevator, you encounter the figure again after it drops through a vent. I'm guessing the reason as to why the figure seems so oblivious in the mines is because of it's long fall, where it's super sensitive senses are disrupted. It later find more vents and drops down deeper and deeper into the mines, possibly still hunting for you. Once you escape to the castle, you can see a pile of figure meat near the castle, meaning that he is not too far from where you are. As to what the figure meat is? that is still an anomaly and we will most likely figure it out (pun intended) in a later update. if you read all of that, thank you, you are really cool. There are not multipel figures he turned on his spotlight so he can eat gloombats and the figure comes from the secert doors to door 100 and got and at the end of floor 1 he fell down to the door and that time also he gone into the pipes and getting to other room
Nah, I dont think so. Guiding light wouldve said A FIGURE not THE FIGURE. Not only that, figure jumps down and falls from a pipe. If he is natural, how would he just come out of a pipe randomly? Plus, he is blind. How is he gonna get back up to the surface without running into seek (ik u said that) and other stuff PLUS, under the court yard in floor 1 you can see his meat and 2 doors. Its also been confirmed that the messed up rooms in the hotel are done by figure. If your theory is true, how did those rooms get messed up? (love ur vids btw)
My theory is that as can we see figure was able to move around the hotel but then he locked himself in the library this would be because it would be a easier way to hunt the player after we free him he walk in places that we aren’t able to go like the courtyard basement that we can’t enter and then he finished in the room 100 an in the mines as can we see in the end of floor 1 he falls too with us to he just was traveling around the pipes because some pipes aren’t with seek goop so he just travelled because he is lost so when we encounter him is only bad luck for the 2 of us
Also curious is not the most powerful of them he is just as powerful as guiding and mischievous and they are not celestials they are the architects Not hate just my opinion
Finally the architects is confirmed because when you use a crusifix that it is powered by guiding light it says one of the architects guided by the celestials assist you and did you know they only make figure having a light to make it easier because they rooms are harder and in that moment he bugged so much times so the light it is to make players know that he is near and well the grumble flesh theory is okay I like it but it was made probably to kill the giggles so the grumble number reduce the ones who made that where the ones that where in the workers or scientist in the hotel probably ordered by the owner to get rid of the grumbles that they where behind his hotel because the grumble are native of the mines and they probably existed before the hotel
He didn't travel to room 100 from the little corner he came from there was figure pieces so that means that the figure we see at 100,120 and 185 is the figure from 100

To all of the people who came from my 3 architects theory, I have decided that that theory was overly religious but can still describe things like how Curious Light is more powerful and why Guiding Light is on our side and Mischievous is not. This is why I changed Curious Light's role in this one.
Besides that, although the devs said he can travel through the hotel, he has no vibrations leading to the electrical room, hence the theory.

There are more halls in the hotel than the halls player took. Door 50 has a window that figure could jump out of, and we’ve seen figure do this in door 100. Guiding light also calls figure “THE figure”.
So actually in the hotel, there is broken rooms with flesh in it, that shows that figures actually goes to the room to get to the electrical room, and when he fell in the ending he probably fell into a vent that he climbed into and showed up in doors floor 2 so actually I think there is one figure who is just very smart.😊

In the electrical room there’s remains of figure where he”spawns” but I believe that was just the moment he transformed into the so called “figure”. And in door 50 there’s none. So I believe probably in (Mines+ or Castle+) update we might see a queen or king figure. Because there’s so many remains of figure in (The Mines) and your theory about giggle might actually be true… i think curious light is trying to make a Queen or King figure. But it seems he didn’t succeed in killing the Queen grumble or other grumbles. We know that Guiding light is helping us so mischievous light might be trying to do the opposite but I’m not too sure about curious light. I believe mischievous light is evil because we have guiding light who helps us and we have curious light who is locked up in the rooms. Meanwhile the other “lights” are pretty much free in doors and the mines but they don’t have as much power as curious light does. And your theory that curious light might be the “King” of the castle leads me to believe that mischievous light tried to defeat curious light but failed so mischievous light sealed curious light up in the rooms. So far guiding light has been helping us to survive like if he wants us to save curious light or perhaps something else. I’m still not sure who created these monsters and why. But all I know is whatever it is guiding light needs our help to defeat “it” and my theory is that mischievous light created these monsters mischievous light can add modifies to the game to make it easier or harder so my theory is that “mischievous light” created them for some sort of a purpose. (I’ll keep updating this until my theory’s unfortunately ends…) [anyone who read all this thx for reading it and it would be nice if I got a like]

I feel the most logical and simplest answer is that the void or glitch teleports him. Anything other than this is way to speculative like if you look at the theory in the video we assume a lot of stuff.

The soul/spirit manifesting in us is guiding light. The soul/spirit in figure is most likely curious light, which explains the spotlight, and the soul/spirit in seek is red light, although I'm 99% sure that seek was literally formed by the red light's power. Curious light may also manifest in us because of the yellow death screens. Figure might also be able to "reproduce" with each other, which may explain the theory. Curious light/void might have teleported figure around to help defeat the player.
Edit: I'm 99% sure figure still had a spotlight in the electrical room before hotel +, but if not, the devs prob didn't want to reveal the appearance of curious light just yet.
Funny thing, I also had the same theory a couple of days ago, but the flesh puddles generate both more figures and dupes. The reason i said dupes was because of the room you see after you crucify one. Its made from fleshy like stuff similar to figures flesh, and there can be multiple dupes in one room

I found out myself few days ago, that he uses the light in his mouth to lure in gloombats to eat them.
I have a theory that connects to the architects theory I made
So when I said that Curious Light is actually the player it can only make sense because the player opens the door to the Rooms and the first floor (from the backdoor). If the Curious Light isn't the player then how come the player can travel dimensions? The player is the only one who can actually activate the portals unlike Guiding Light. The only time we actually see an architect pass through dimensions is the Mischievous Light (A-60). This brings me to 3 conclusions.
1. The player (if Curious Light is the player) is continuously trying to free himself from Doors but Mischievous Light is trying to trap the player because this is Curious Light's last resort.
2. The player has no resemblance to the Architects whatsoever.
3. The architects was actually one primary architect on its own split into the 3 Architects we have now. This makes sense because there wasn't any main resemblance to Rush or Void or Glitch. The Reason I said that was because they didn't have any main color resemblance. Now, what about Ambush? Ambush emits a greener glow by mixing Curious Light and Guiding Light. But why is it evil? Well because before release Ambush emitted a redder color rather than the green one we see today.
Conclusion: To conclude, the architects were one main architect (that can actually tell us how Curious Light got locked up) and that not just the player can travel through dimensions. The Primary Architect theory can be looked further into by examining the actions of the entities such as Rush, Void, Glitch Ambush and Eyes (Ambush is a mixture of Curious and Guiding Light and Eyes is a mixture of Guiding and Mischievous Light).

I don't think there's 3 figures, as we can see at the elevator ending in floor 1 the figure falls to the mines, which can mean 2 things: we go upper and upper or he just fall from a huge hole and finished into some tubes and whit that he hears us and falls to try to get us but he can't see and falls where we go after.

There is a El gribino ( idk how to spell) that says something like this " that mucho meat dudë is normally not down here I think he followed you" so that means the figure is usually only in the hotel and he is really not supposed to be in the mines.
There is only 1 figure, and this is because he can walk from door 50 to door 100 first off the devs said figure knows the layout of the hotel and can traverse through also the hotel is a puzzle and I think the guiding light is causing the doors that makes us always progress through the hotel and also the rooms with figure stuff usually happen in one room then another room 3 to 10 doors down, meaning either he can teleport or guiding light is making the hotel weird and puzzling, and so the guiding light only follows us so that means figure could just go around us where the guiding light is not there to get to door 100. And if your still wandering about how he gets through the mines, he comes out of the vent or sewers or something like that meaning he moves through the vent, and I think that means he’s also guided by the meat because we see this meat in the mines and in the hotel, and he’s always where the meat is. so you could argue that he creates the meat and there’s multiple of them that way, but I think this is created by something bigger, something we don’t know about that could be in the castle or beyond so, that’s my theory at least. And that’s why I think there’s only one figure, I got a lot of these ideas from cheddar balls and his video “figure is smarter than you think.”

And we literally see ruined rooms, once again confirmed to be made by figure. And he probably didn't fall all the way down the window, probably grabbing onto a wall or something from the outside of the hotel, before using his arms to navigate to the LITERAL FLAMES!!! Also I'm pretty sure flicking little switches would make fairly loud sounds and vibrations, letting him get to you, and he jumps down the elevator with us in that mines and uses vents and pipes to navigate through there.

Also, we don't "know" that curious light is the highest ranked celestial, and it is most likely quite the contrary, as he is being told information, whereas if he was the highest ranked he most likely would know this already. Also, we see G.L. can literally highlight items, and while you COULD say it was just C.L. being lazy, It makes more sense that he just can't do that. And if you say "well the crucifix doesn't work in rooms!" That's because you are in a completely different area, most likely too far away from G.L. to access any of their powers. And we know that M.L. can subdue G.L, so it wouldn't make sense that C.L. can overpower something that can overpower something that can overpower him, if that makes sense. Also, dead Grumbles most likely get corrupted by seek, thrown out of the nest, eaten, or just covered by rocks and landslides, rather than be made into figures. They literally have different skin tones! Also let me correct myself from ealier, there probably WAS multiple figures, but now there is only one left, the one we know and hate. Or love, I don't judge. This is because of his special roar. If he kills something, a giggle or clock or you, he roars, most likely to let other figures know, "its dinnertime!" But we never once see multiple figures at once, so they most likely died out, leaving only our current one as their only predecessor. And to think they served C.L, the "king" of the castle? He actually had a spotlight on door 100 before hotel plus. After the mines update, he has spotlight on every location
when we fight figure at the end of floor 1 we can see that he peeks out of a corner which has a meat puddle in it, so that could mean he teleported through it
figure is confirmed to be able access secret areas and passages that player cannot see/ access. He is also nimble, explaining how he traverses the vents
when we get out the backdoor and the rooms [a-1000 or exit door] we see that were back in the hotel but if you look bsck theres a portel so my thoery is that curious light uses a big portel for figure to go places and he can even make stuff like the barrel of starlight and sub lvls

The devs told us that figure walks to door 100 with his own path. And you literally see figure enter the mines with in the ending cutscene of floor 1, you know, because they the one to make you enter the mines in the first place.
The figure probably gets to door 50 by teleporting to one of the rooms with flesh puddles in it after door 50 and mischievous light is guiding him to the library and the one who locked the library.

My theory for the floor 2 one, the figure passed in that hole, and possibly found something and crawled through it and fell down deeper into the mines exploring, and the flesh puddles, what if figures, more figures were modeled? Into figures
I think that figure is a kind of creature that isn't a "social" being so it stays at about 50 rooms away from another figure. They hunt for themselves and the spotlight is yellow which resembles guiding light. The piles of flesh may be where figure has thrown all of its victims and where maybe curios merges them. But, well who knows?
The way Figure got into the mines was at the end of Floor 1 he jumped onto the elevator and tore off some bolts and then we can barely see him fall back into another cave. So what I am guessing is that he found a tunnel in the cave and then followed it and made his way to the meat room.

Figure is made from flesh and meat. If you look at those its the same but no bones, so this probably means figure can get a second body, it just has to grow.
As we know, figure does have Curious Light controlling them. My theory is that Curious Light is infected by the Rooms and Backdoors entities, but one side is good, one side is bad. God ( curious light ) and the angel (guiding light) met up in the hotel once and decided to check the library. They saw a tall walking figure will meat,flesh,and bones. He was totally blind, so the god and angel coundnt make a sound. Suddenly, A black goo monster rises from the floor (this is not a new monster, this is Seek.) With a red light on the monsters body was a devil consuming Curious lights internal light. A big piece of pastel yellow light cut off from Curious Lights body and went into the monster with flesh(Figure) Instead of going for its mouth, it went for the ears. Still, Curious Light continues to have one of her best parts of light into a monsters body, and Mischevous light has been doing it all along. Once, a player had tried to see if this hotel was good or not. He was a kind of gangster dude, From Costa Rica. He didn’t know what was happening until there was a brown, wood cross that was surrounded with… red. This was Mischevous Light, the one who made God infect Figure. And when the crucifix was active… He be came both a skeleton and… El Goblino. Seriously, El goblino didn’t know how this happened, or why there was a skeleton in front of him. He knew what to call him for now, that’s when Bob began. Once going through door 52, he saw a black mist. And… there was a soul inside bob, well, of course, but it was a gangsters color: Black. Suddenly, eyes popped out from the mist. El goblino was shocked. He hadn’t known what to do. And then, it happens.

They said that he used outer paths, maybe he stumbled into the electrical room and we see that figure drops down from door 100 where he went in cutscene, so he probably got there to the mines, an explanation around him moving through 122ish to door 175 ish, maybe he somehow went into that tube and crawled through and came by accident, because he is blind so he has no idea where to go, and just goes wherever he can. And guiding light said the figure, not a figure. A grumble death says a grumble, as others have also said. Also, he always had the light, whenever he did the closet looking the light would show, in the mines update its always on. So those are a few things that go against the video that might prove it wrong.
mischevious light most likely locked curious light away, there might also be a forgotten celestial in floor 3 that was locked in the castle
There is one thing that disproves the curious light theory helping the figure. In rooms you are helping curious light escape from the rooms and backdoors. Into the hotel, so that can’t really make sense.
I have a theory that curious light controls the grumble queen
My theory is I break figures ragdoll physics (2022) and saw him noclipping through the doorooms and started clapping the books
It was actually confirmed by the devs that after door 50, Figure found a door that allowed him to get to door 100 before us.
my theory is if seek can go everywhere in his goop, maybe figure made by fleshs so he can teleport another flesh puddles with that (like transforming fleshs to figure)
There only two other ways i can make up, figure and glitch teamed up, and glitch teleported figure into door 100, and and he simply probably just fell into a vent room, because we can remember him rolling into a different room during the end of the game cutsence while the elevator fails, and guiding light mentions "The Figure" when you die The is mostly used describing one thing in grammar.
Fun fact, Figures are spread as dead bodies that were dead 300 years ago. Bob was gonna use his skin to make another fugue so Bob can also be a figure. He only wants to eat. There’s 3 types of figures, Librarian, engineer, and Janitor, because look closely btw if u wanna know why
i think that after door 50 theres usually a rush between door 51 and door 55. i think that rush took the figure to door 100. then when we went to the end elevator the figure jumped into a mineshaft and started exploring it. the flesh in the ground is probably what he eats

Figure goes through different routes to get to door 100 then once he gets out the window you can see that the window leads to the door and the electrical puzzle made sound so he heard us and broke through the door then you can see he fell off the elevator and he could of fell into the first room we see him in floor 2 then from that room he follows where we went through a different route and ended up

My theory:
Da theory is The Figure literally just was wandering around the hotel and knew where we were and then he came across a library. He choosed to go in the library where he thinks that it is its home. Then he got enraged after you escaped the library so he went to the courtyard and then he went into the basement then (warning: this is kinda disgusting) puked out his shitty meat and then just found a way out of the basement and a short cut to Door 100.Then he again gets enraged because you escaped him again and then he jumps down hoping he can finally eat you.

I think Curious Light is giving figure the spotlight so he could help us cause like the spotlight basically tells us figure is coming
I think, first off Figure put the lock on the library so his prey cant escape, and from a cheddar balls video, we can determine that Figure starts shedding his exposed skin tissue, and if you go into the courtyard basement, Figure's skin is there explaining how he gets to door 100 from 50. I think Figure has no correlation to Gloombats or giggles because Figure is made of exposed tissue. As well thinking about it, how does Curious light spawn Figure from Grumbles and I think when a Grumble dies, the queen eats it with the skeleton, but I think Curious light is not trapped into rooms, because you can see it in front of the rooms door. Well how would Curious light be able to do all this creating these Figures needing alot of strength to make it possible, so I think curious light has help, a partner to make them stronger or someone we havent seen yet. It would also make sense because why else would there be rotting flesh piles in the courtyard basement where we cant see him walking. With the rotting flesh with flies on it, it would be impossible for it to be figure flowing from. Unless those flies around the flesh piles are Gloombats ans it would be why Figure tries to eat them.
Here is my theory on the figure.
It was originally from the mines, and my reason for thinking that is number one, many cave creatures in the real world are blind and rely on echo location. Number two, we see that it eats gloom bats, and the spotlight that it produces is just an evolutionary ability to lure in gloom bats, as the gloom bats attempt to destroy any light they see, and thus many would just fly into the figures mouth. I would guess the spotlight is actually a bioluminescent acid, seeing as the figure does not have an esophagus, it may digest the meals it eats directly in it's mouth.
Eventually, the figure is not able to sustain itself upon gloom bats anymore, and so it goes into the library looking for new prey. it settles in the library where many people wander in. The figure locks it's self in the library, as it is very intelligent, and traps any unfortunate people that wander in. If I had to guess, it only digests it's prey after it kills it all, which is why if you are in multiplayer and someone dies their body will go undigested.
After escaping, you enrage the figure, who would take the side door in room 49 to access inaccessible parts of the hotel. You can see one of the rooms it might have gone through in the courtyard basement, as the room is filled with the fleshy figure meat (idk what else to call it) and that's how it got to door 100. After you escape by the elevator, you encounter the figure again after it drops through a vent. I'm guessing the reason as to why the figure seems so oblivious in the mines is because of it's long fall, where it's super sensitive senses are disrupted. It later find more vents and drops down deeper and deeper into the mines, possibly still hunting for you. Once you escape to the castle, you can see a pile of figure meat near the castle, meaning that he is not too far from where you are.
As to what the figure meat is? that is still an anomaly and we will most likely figure it out (pun intended) in a later update.

Nah, I dont think so. Guiding light wouldve said A FIGURE not THE FIGURE. Not only that, figure jumps down and falls from a pipe. If he is natural, how would he just come out of a pipe randomly? Plus, he is blind. How is he gonna get back up to the surface without running into seek (ik u said that) and other stuff
PLUS, under the court yard in floor 1 you can see his meat and 2 doors. Its also been confirmed that the messed up rooms in the hotel are done by figure. If your theory is true, how did those rooms get messed up? (love ur vids btw)
My theory is that as can we see figure was able to move around the hotel but then he locked himself in the library this would be because it would be a easier way to hunt the player after we free him he walk in places that we aren’t able to go like the courtyard basement that we can’t enter and then he finished in the room 100 an in the mines as can we see in the end of floor 1 he falls too with us to he just was traveling around the pipes because some pipes aren’t with seek goop so he just travelled because he is lost so when we encounter him is only bad luck for the 2 of us
Also curious is not the most powerful of them he is just as powerful as guiding and mischievous and they are not celestials they are the architects

Finally the architects is confirmed because when you use a crusifix that it is powered by guiding light it says one of the architects guided by the celestials assist you and did you know they only make figure having a light to make it easier because they rooms are harder and in that moment he bugged so much times so the light it is to make players know that he is near and well the grumble flesh theory is okay I like it but it was made probably to kill the giggles so the grumble number reduce the ones who made that where the ones that where in the workers or scientist in the hotel probably ordered by the owner to get rid of the grumbles that they where behind his hotel because the grumble are native of the mines and they probably existed before the hotel

He didn't travel to room 100 from the little corner he came from there was figure pieces so that means that the figure we see at 100,120 and 185 is the figure from 100
