No such thing as filler in the Boruto anime big fella, everything that has occured is 100% canon to the anime, and makes up for areas in which the manga didn't have the time nor make the effort to expand on the lore.

Crazy-ass boruto series fangirls are getting mad at me for speaking the truth. Even if those episodes may be tied to the story. A filler is an unnecessarily long episode with a small amount of substance in it. And I've seen plenty in Boruto. Say whatever you want, but there is significantly less action, and build up in the Boruto series than any other ongoing anime. Not to mention how stupid the "shinobi world" is developing in this series... Awful work. Time traveling... So out of this world's theme and many others, and many more to come...
@@dumi4688 I don't know if I'd call myself a 'fan-girl' now nor do I feel angry at your comment but I do like to clarify certain issues folks have with the anime.
A lot of the episodes have had good character development for the main cast as well for characters that wouldn't feature as strongly. As regards to tension and narrative, I concede that Boruto does lack those elements that we consider vital for a story's pacing and meaning of action. However, I feel that the relaxed nature of the show is quite pertinent for how it was set up by Shippuden. The sacrifices that Naruto and the crew went through to secure a world for the likes of Boruto to be able to enjoy their youth and not have to be constantly keeping an eye on every potential flashpoint for a war.
And, if Boruto is to lose everything as Momoshiki implies that he will do so, is it not okay for Boruto and all his friends to enjoy themselves before the series takes a dark and sombre tone?

He ran to save himself after losing the fight against Jigen aka Ishiki. Is Kashin Koji hiding himself in Amegakure? Does Boruto intend to hide in Amegakure and meet Kashin Koji?
Apart from Sarada and Sumire, is Sasuke also not impressed by the power that Eida has released?
What is certain about the effect of the slander, Boruto will experience a very severe trauma.
Since Naruto became Hokage, we don't know if Amegakure has changed for the better? Or has Naruto broken his promise to Nagato to liberate the land of Amegakure?

@@mugiwarafishing588 Amegakure village maybe. But you also got to remember the leaf isn't the only village effected by Eidas charm. It's the entire world so Boruto isn't safe anywhere. Hes basically a kill on sight character as of now and forever till Eida and Kawaki is eliminated or subdued.
Kashin probably will be an ally of Boruto. But mentor I doubt it just because his fighting style isn't like Borutos nor is his Justus.
As of now Momoshiki did give of us hints of who is and who isn't affected by the charm. But my assumption is that people with otsutsuki blood in them isn't affected by Eidas charm. However, it could also be that Sasuke was heavily modified by the 6th sage. So, him and Sarada wasn't charmed.
I don't think Naruto can do anything to help Amegakure being that its A rogue village. Even if he wanted to change it, he can't since his adopted son has him locked up. For potentially many years.
Being with all is going down Boruto will most likely create an alliance with people who isn't affected by the charm. Forming the new Akatsuki group. to overthrow Kawaki and after potentially fighting other otsutsuki gods in order to end all of this.
But we also can't forget the real mastermind. Momoshiki who is making sure all goes as planned for him to either use the host of the jougan or completely take over the host and take over everything.

"The age of Shinobi.. is over". When you read the manga, this phrase actually makes sense. With the reveal of Karma and creation of scientific ninja tools and abilities, you really feel the age of ninja has passed. Even Naruto and Sasuke (the 2 strongest shinobi) have become powerless to this change and now are weaker than their prime. Naruto lost Kurama and Sasuke lost his Rinnegan. It really shows a new era has begun in Boruto's time and the era of shinobi (which was Naruto's era) has passed.
They may have become weaker, but they’re still stronger than anyone in the 5 great nations. It’s not like they were reversed back into shippuden where naruto just learned sage mode and Sasuke just got EMS. All the experience, they’ve leveled up

They who have not aged realize the age difference in Boruto and Sarada and are given an explanation. Grief stricken the village and shinobi world is calmed by Boruto. Eida informs Boruto and Sarada that she can reverse time and take them back to before all of this occurred. Boruto refuses or takes Eida up on her offer.

Similar to foreshadowing for madara.

A few things now that Two Blue Vortex is out. Boruto and Kawaki are much older in this flash forward compared to Two Blue Vortex chapter 1. And Boruto is wearing different clothing so that means he went back home to the village and they accepted him back. Boruto says, "I didn't think you would go this far Kawaki", meaning he did something else that was bad outside of just sealing Naruto and omnipotence. Still waiting for this fight, I guess i'll wait another 6 years.

I know comparing series isn’t a great way to judge spin off/ new one, but where was naruto at ep 180? going through all the filler to conclude the series. where was naruto shippuden? in the middle of its story with many great moments and fights already having occurred. I know you didn’t ask, but no ones going to be eating anything when/ if the series gets a tiny bit interesting.
