i don't mean to be a dick, but it was always confusing when Chat Noir gets his ass handed to him by other heroes since he is the only one to actually have proper "fighting" experience (fencing) before becoming a hero.
Yeah Irritation seems to be Marinette's prime feeling to him with a side of impatience, I wonder if she will eventually twig that Adrien is the fake and that Cat Noir is the real deal and if she wants her fantasy Boyfriend - she'd going to have to put up with a lot of terrible puns.
@Rebecca I have been thinking about it for weeks, trying to puzzle out if (as a character) she simple isn't aware she's doing it, or perhaps she's doing it as some sort of public image thing, or maybe only maybe mind - it's an over compensated inferiority complex. so as Marinette she comes off as stuttery an and as LB as well frankly "rude & inconsiderate", there is these suggestions from what I've read from the production that they just throw those line in to make what is essentially a poliitical statement and don't realiise they risk breaking the sympathy with the character, though I have also wondered if she's supposed to be an anime style Tsundere too ? It's something I will keep an eye on during re-watches and been very mindful of in Season 4, sometimes she's really well Nasty, and I have to really think on each instance to see what the psycology of that outburst might be - I sometime shrug though and thing - well maybe Ladybug is just Chloe-Lite.
@Rebecca That is an interesting point, Is Marinette/Ladybug/LadyNoir - just being a bit salty due to background stresses, like lack of sleep (see "The Marinette Challenge") or the Kagami & Adrien situation, or even how Cat Noir can be a bit stressful at time to be around, I had the same reaction to you the 1st time I saw it - the 2nd and 3rd time I was a little more sympathetic ; but watching the episode again recently and the diary episode she mentions it - I'm stating to think - yes she does look pretty rude here, I think she condescends at Cat Noir and assumes he's an idiot (which he clearly isn't - he's smart he's just inexperienced at some things). That said I don't mind Lady Noire being a 'bad girl' (it might even be put on - or a subconscious effect from Plagg) - but it's certainly something I wonder about - design wise though I love her costume. The Pony Tail Platte is great.

The whole time he’d been spending time with her knowing and he didn’t say anything to her. Then again when she thought about it she was guilty of the same thing when ladybug.

This may make more sense to the author than to the viewer judging by the comments. since effectively it's Marinette who is the one complaining that they can't know their identities then she lets it slip TWICE. This is then somehow Adrien's fault. Now if Adrien was kissing some random chic when he had another girlfriend then it would be an issue - but his poor judgement was in kissing her as Adrien in the same way - but then does he even know that the boy she was on the rebound with was him - as if he's completely clueless he did a lot less wrong, if he does know she loved him as Adrien and rebounded on him as Cat Noir then yeah he's being a creep & manipulating her feelings, but she does worse to him 3 times a week at least - so lets just say no one wants to be keeping a score here as Marinette might not be the one coming out on the side of the angels here. This is just one of many reasons partial reveals are so darn problematic on so many levels. & if either of them does start to fall for the other self that doesn't help pre-reveal if just adds layers of complexity and even potential resentment. I guess there is one way it MIGHT work is if Cat Noir says to Lady Bug - I'm sorry I won't be flirting with you so much from now on - I have fallen in love with another girl (won't say who) then stay the hell away from Marinette as Cat Noir and try the friendship plan with Marinette, then if he can woe her slowly over time when they do eventually find out he won't have cheated emotionally speaking on LB, otherwise anything more than Friendship created a laundry list of problems for the 2ndary personas. But then even that way Marinette can still feel resentful that he settled for his second choice - of her. Just as Cat Noir could feel annoyed if she did the same (But I don't think Adrien thinks like that - that is more "Girl Logic" than "Boy Logic") he'd just be happy to be loved by anyone - heck even Nino is a treasure to him for the reason of the assaugement of his loneliness.
