When the Dani’s Dance scene finally got animated, everyone was praising the Japanese VA and while he did do a good job, I didn’t hear anyone saying anything about Jason Liebrecht’s surprisingly great performance. I’ve heard him play a lot of characters and that scene was one of his best moments!

in Bones' defense they were making MOB season 3 at the same time they were making the last season, so the animation suffered. Also as if they'd ever recapture the manga artstyle in animation, no studio could do that without it looking super rigid XD

I don't understand why people now suddenly hate on MHA, past Season 3. Putting animation and pacing issues aside, I don't think it ever became bad, it just became different. The paradigm shifted progressively, as the stakes were getting higher and Deku was turning into the greatest hero he said he had become, back in Chapter 1. I understand that not having the limitations of him breaking his body like in the beginning and now having more Quirks kills the initial fun of the story, but personally I think that opened new avenues of fun, now that he's become a powerhouse. And he deserved so.
There’s a few things. First, the fandom as someone else said, if a show has a terrible fandom, you’re not gonna want to be associated with then, which someone people decide to hate on the show because of it (even though that’s stupid) Second, the difference between the manga and anime. Especially in the my villain academia arc, and endeavour internship, the way the anime did it was weird, and made the story odd if you already read the manga, because both were meant to be done simultaneously, but instead it went my villain academia then endeavour internship. Also the villain academia in general, people say it did the manga dirty with the anime, but I watched the anime first, and it seemed to be pretty similar, so I’m not too sure on that. Thirdly, people didn’t like the school festival arc with the 1A performance and gentle criminal, apparently because they were saying it was a waste of time filler. Which it wasn’t, it was in the manga, and let 1A do actually school stuff, like in the series name suggests they should, Finally people had an issue with the animation, especial in the war arc of season 6, which was definitely not the best, and I do kinda agree it wasn’t that good. Though the second half of s6 was good quality. There’s also like you mentioned, the issues with the story itself, like Deku getting multiple quirks and now being too powerful and super far ahead of the rest of the class, which diminishes the point of “we can’t have a single hero holding everything up like with All Might” which is true. But i don’t think it damages the story that much. There’s also later in the manga, during this final war arc. I won’t say what, but there’s atleast a few, “pulls out power boost that had no real foreshadowing or evidence of existing before this moment” events. Which did sour people’s perceptions of it. Also the as well as a few issues that didn’t seem to exist until they were explicitly needed in the story, mainly back in the mva arc, the mutant racism that builds spinners character. Also in general, the lack of appreciation for Spinner by the anime, since in the manga, he’s defo more fleshed out, and a real character, while in the anime, still gives off the “stain fanboy” as his main character trait
The blue sky thing is such bullshit. Not only does Bones obviously not want to change the style of sky they’ve had since season 1, but characters like Tokoyami are why the sky needs to be day

Horikoshi’s artwork is actually stunning I didnt even realize for a while because I’d only seen the anime. Whoever is running the MHA art direction needs to hand the job to someone who won’t ask for bright blue skies during a WAR ARC.
The one thing i love abt mha is how the manga isn't too far ahead of the anime. Like u can be fairly caught up with most of the main things happening without reading ahead or u can read ahead and not wait too long for it to get adapted

Ya I love the show and I totally try to ignore haters of any anime. Like I'll listen to your problems with any show but it's not gonna stop me from enjoying shows. But always love hearing your takes cause we watching many of the same shows and I agree 90% of the time with you but that's what opinions are.
