Art Shop Launch Update

So just a quick explanation of business that I am in the midst of starting.
I always wanted to be my own boss. I've actually heard of people succeeding in this field by selling paintings. The market is pretty competitive, as with most things, but I do think that being a musician taught me that if you put your mind into something, there will be people who enjoy the stuff you're making and are willing to invest their time, energy and money into things like this.
I also think that in the business of creating art, there's no need to worry about competition that much, because the thing you're engaging in is productive by it's very nature.
I decided to get 2 paintings first, outsourced the printing to a company that makes canvas until I can afford to get my own printer and basically make the illustration prints (computer art, graphic design, whatever you want to call it).
It's a nice change of looking at ad revenue for my return on investment because that tends to be quite low per person and rather investing my money to essentially buy stuff for a cheaper price that I am selling it for, I do think that's one very viable way and to be honest I am also doing this out of love for the craft itself.

What I specifically like about this project is that buying stuff for 80% of the price that I would sell it for, I have an return on investment that can be calculated beforehand.
So if I make the calculation that for example, if I sell one painting per day for a year straight, I can straight up see how much money I made.
So to make a million euros of profit I'd have to sell X amount of paintings in Y amount of time. So I can calculate that beforehand and that's what I really like about this approach.
