Ambient to House Session w/ Korg Volcas

- I was trying to make something mellow and different to the stuff I usually do and got quite carried away. Still I ended up with some groovin' house. I guess it's the volca sample always pushing me there.
Track 2 starts at 7:00
Tech facts:
Ableton works as the main clock, FX unit and is playing the vocal sample in the second part. The rest is coming straight from the volcas.

Love that transition between the two songs. Something just feels right about it.
Sounds fine 😍😎😍 liked it, very relaxed 🍓🍋🍓 keep it on! Cya geez 🌻🌺🌻
Do you know my channel? 🤗
I like the way you get deep sounds only from volcas. Really nice!
🙌
I never get tired of listening to it. 😊
💘
that groove bro, so bumpy
😎💥🥳
this is bloody awesome! great video, great jam...what more can you ask for?!
great video👍
i can know how you connected 3 korg volca on 4input sound card?
Thank you! Only the volca fm is connected with a stereo line in, sample and keys both only use one mono channel.
@@Projekt_1996 you connected everything with behringer umc404?
@@serdi5869 yes!
Love this session... I wonder from where this bass is being played, it is the volca keys? It's really groovy :)
Yes it’s the volca keys playing the Bassline ✌🏽
really nice... can I ask how you set up Ableton as the clock for the sample? Having a lot of issues getting it to work right but it's probably just me messing up some settings.
Ableton is sending MIDI Sync Information via usb to the Interface which is then connected to the volca sample with a midi cable.
You have to make sure that Ableton and the volca are communicating on the right midi channel. There are quite a lot good tutorials on how to set this up. Hope that helps!
@@Projekt_1996 Thanks heaps man, really appreciate it. Wasn't sure if you were using clock sync or MIDI but looks like midi is the way to go. Love your work, all the best!
