jt files are used in automotive as well, i don't know why they don't lower the price as it is far more powerful that solidworks or inventor and on par with catia. And it is also more user friendly especially compared to inventor i found
Hello , i like this video and also liked the way of explaining. I am learning advance commands of Nx. I request you can I get this assembly for practice purpose?
i have an issue when converting large assy from step file into NX, any suggestion sir? the conversation taking time so long, also when I save all the file its take time as well
I come from Indonesia, from Muhammadiyah Riau university. I am interested in casting, I am taking a final assignment in college, horizontal centrifugal casting. Can you help me with a horizontal casting centrifugal tutorial? please help me🙏🙏🙏🙏
Hi. You can run NX with intel i5, 4 GB RAM, and 2 GB VGA card memory. But that are very low. For this large assemby with smooth 3D rotate you need xeon e5, 64 GB RAM and 8GB VGA. For mininum spec you can use i7 with 8 GB and 2GB VGA. I using same minimum spec for my laptop.
You can see NX and how much trouble it has to handle a large file... it is virtually impossible to work, the movements are choppy and the graphics are not that great at all. Compare that to other CAD for performance...
Claud Claude This is going to be up to his processing power and not just NX. NX handles extremely large assemblies just fine, which is why so many automotive and aerospace companies run NX and TC. Also, as a designer, in what scenario would you ever need to have an assembly this large all in context? This would never happen.
NX is top of all the products though catia using for surface design. PTC Creo and Inventor comparatively same. In many case Creo better. Solidworks is for beginner level I think. Solidedge is better then solidworks in computer performance.

Massive assembly, show a tutorial how you did it, or just a timelapse

i don't work with large assemblies, but do you think the newest Solid edge version could load fast on a PC when the budget is not a problem?
Teamcenter
The slow performance comes from Teamcenter? Not from NX ?
Is it better than Inventor ou Solidworks?

I think Solidworks is the best for modeling and for a fast review of models.
Batman is better than Superman. But in some cases Spiderman is better.
