if you mean the AI starting wats make sure you are doing quests of the AI regular , also flatter and money when its a safe bet is good also pay attention to each of the npcs likes and dislikes . The wiki for this is anno1800.fandom.com/wiki/Category:NPCs and try and have some military power as well if they are much more stronger than you in force they will def pressure you more
Thanks Itroo.....learning alot. Only problem with watching how efficient and strategic your gameplay is.......I look at my mess (first time campaign playthrough about 20hrs in) and I think I should start over.
Yeah they added this with the game update when Docklands DLC released you can also do it with the fish oil in the new world. you can not do it in the artic or enbesa though
The smart side of my brain totally agree's with you but the louder ehhh its more fun to just plonk it down side of my brain says otherwise lol. Blue printing is always useful to use though
Yeah sometimes i forget i should blueprint mo re and other times I know it only costs construction materials to rebuild it so its not a problem to do that and just go with the flow and work with what you have, i find it more chill that wat haha
can I ask how many hours you have in total in anno 1800? I'm trying some of the harder (no where near this) difficulty and I'm struggling hard getting to mid game even. Looking for a veteran in the game to watch :P
..... i had no idea you could turn working conditions up like that to get more productivity.... i'm 20+ hours plus deep don't know how i missed that, seems like a huge thing....
oh wow.. one video in and I have more questions than I can expect to have answered. Does it hurt to have low happiness like this, you seem just fine. Do the AI wait with building till you explore them? Sick watch though, put it at 1.25 speed though, nice talking speed you got for me to be able to do that and still understand it :)
I have 2700 hours in the game, its an easy enough game to pick up but it takes a long time to master as there s so much to balances and adjust you will still be learning past 100 hours and with each dlc they add and you explore/buy. Working conditions will get you extra production but at the cost of happiness also some of the AI will like it when you do working conditions others will hate it. check the wiki for the personal traits of each AI anno1800.fandom.com/wiki/Category:NPCs . not too bother about the happiness as theres not a lot I can do about it with this extra level of difficulty's and having low happiness with lower the chances of festivals and increase the chances of riots which will stop productions and loose you workforce whilst they are on going and will spread to other house and production lines and they can set building on fire. I also stream the game and others on my twitch.tv/itroo if you want to catch me live when i am able to stream
@@ItrooTwitch Daammnnn, first of thanks for fast reply and second super stoked to hear the game has this much playability to it :D I went straight into my game after watching this vid and tried something similar and it was a huge improvement on my early game, whereas before I just bled out money wise too quick. Will try to catch you on twitch for sure :)
@@vakalkas Glad it helped if you struggle with money early on check my early game tips and pirates friends or foes there are some good money making techniques there and getting the pirates off your back as well
Different seeds will give different map layouts. By default, the game always gives you a random seed number whenever you start a custom game. Providing a specific speed number allows the player to generate a specific map layout. In this case, it seems like Itroo is going for the map layout with pirates in the center of the Old World.
Yes as Chee Wee Teo said it specifies the orienation of the islands, the size, how many island sthere are their rotation and what mines and oils and clays and ferticiites ect and the placement of the npcs like eli and archie and the pirates
Yes docklands is very abusable but if you dont manage it , it can be your undoing but yes it makes its easy which is why I like to add extra stipulations onto my games to make them more interesting
Very sorry for the slow response been suffering with covid again. my graphics are DX 11, max out settings , fixed sun position and anti aliasing only at x2
It too, would you ever be willing to do a daily release? It’s better for everyone including the algorithm, assuming you have the time heh. Really tough to come back every week
@@SenjaiYT If i was doing streaming full time yes I would consider it but I also have to work a 42.5 hour a week day job and stream and doing youtube as well meaning i work around 80 hours a week so time is against me at the moment
its a decent effort but using docklands on a 1 island play (till u assemble a fleet of SotL's to capture 2nd island) is very very cheesy. I watched till your 3rd island capture but from then on, its impossible NOT to steamroll over the AI's.
@@ItrooTwitch I totally understand. I'm a big Anno fan and player. I've been playing Anno 1800 for a while now and love all things Anno. I also thoroughly enjoy watching expert players play and record their extreme playthroughs on RUclips. I learn more from watching others play - and that includes you. You made a reference about controlling your warehouse traffic and from that I learned to reposition my production chains so that the *final* chain only has access to the warehouse bays. It's a simple thing to do and it makes sense when you stop and think about it, but I only realised how important it is when I watched you play. It would be a real shame to no longer watch you challenge yourself with extreme settings over something like constant humming. From a viewers perspective, it becomes an audio annoyance real fast.
Learned more in this 30 mins than hours watching others. Excellent stuff mate, can't wait to watch the rest. Instant sub.
Thanks mate appreciate he sub and kind words, try to keep it detailed and to the point as I can
Just want to say I'm thoroughly enjoying this series! You have a seriously underrated channel in your hands. Great job and thanks for the content.
Amazing to see streamers taking challenges
Thanks you glad you enjoyed it
Nice, even more insanity. Good luck mate.
Thanks mate theres a lot of manic 'oh no not now' comedy in the other episodes lol
I've never played to an extend I needed to talk about defense at farmer phase lol. This is nuts.

23:29 AI only can attack coastal buildings. Not inlands buildings
Yeah I realised after saying it but my brain was thinking of many what if situations and got carried away lol
WAUW YOU CAN PLACE FISH DOCKS IN THE WATER?! WHAT THE FLIP!?!
Yeah they added this with the game update when Docklands DLC released you can also do it with the fish oil in the new world. you can not do it in the artic or enbesa though
Set playback speed 1,75, you can thank me later
3:03 how to move the camera like this? The ‘incline’?
Love to see these on youtube! Its recorded on twitch and you will post all episodes on youtube?
Its only on RUclips I recorded this offstream so its a youtube only and no spoilers s o to speak
@@ItrooTwitch awesome!
The only suggestion is to blueprint out other things while waiting on resources. Otherwise great start.

can anyone explain the seed mechanics at the start of the custom game set up? what it does and how it works?

with docklands active, there is no such thing as "hard" difficulty.
Yes docklands is very abusable but if you dont manage it , it can be your undoing but yes it makes its easy which is why I like to add extra stipulations onto my games to make them more interesting
What's is your graphics setting?, it looks crisp Iike it

There's only this one video, but on your channel the playlist is 14 videos, is this a youtube bug?
It is a youtube issue . There are 14 episodes uploaded and scheduled but they should not show in the list even as hidden
When is next coming?
Every Monday 12 (noon) GMT

Thanks for the feedback but its kinda what I do at times but het it shows im enjoying the game and myself lol
