I have anthem full version and anthem simple version sl, both for my guitars. full version has more functions, sounds more detailed but less volume, natural and for strumming than sl version. if you are soloing or picking style, sl version is much better. Actually I prefer simple version Anthem sl. it sounds more damping and easy to control for sweet spot.
Hi thank you for your video, I would like you to help me solve a volume issiue I have bought a Furch Orange OMc-SR SPA W/LRB with a Pickup: L.R. Baggs SPA Stagepro Anthem. Is it normal that the battery does not serve more that 2 months using it only once a week 1hour each?
Hey Brian, there's a video on this channel about changing your 9V battery, which includes the Anthem. Check it out and if you still have questions, please let me know.
Hi the stagepro Version hast a battery compartment, the SL & STANDARD soundhole versions have a stupid bag in the body ( loosen Strings to...) And Martin guitars (HD28) also come with endpin battery case. 👍
On the stage pro anthem how to you adjust the mic level control without playing it while adjusting it? You have to remove the battery to get to the control.
The Mic Level control is designed to be set for the guitar when the pickup is installed. If it's set correctly, it should not need to be adjusted on-stage.
All pickups will affect the unplugged sound to some degrees. The full Anthem doesn't affect the sound of the guitar any more than the Element or Anthem SL.
Can You plug in the PA system and try out the volume, it's the piece of sh..t. It's OK with the guitar Amp, but problem with the PA system. my Martin D35EC I have to return after two weeks. now the new Martin D41 with Lr Baggs Anthem installed by the Martin Factory, the volume making noise like the brush worn out!
I have the same issue. I had the anthem fitted to a new Eastman guitar. Sounds great through an amp but no volume through a PA. Is there a fix? Edit: Caleb from LR Baggs reached out to me following my original post. A couple of emails later and issue clarified and solved. Very impressed with Baggs customer support 👍
@@coldboneslullabies There are a few potential things going on. If you want to email me directly at support@lrbaggs.com, I can give you a few things to look at. It should be an easy fix.
Hi again, I also noted that the full volume output is low as 1db compared to other similar pickups (Yamaha) which is about 5Dbs
Great content as always! Congrats! 👏👏👏

Thanks for sharing, Ken. I also prefer the SL. It's a great system! -Caleb
