Exercise description:
This exercise concerns how to calculate the P-Delta effect manually or by SAP2000. For this purpose, a cantilever column subjected to a vertical and lateral load will be modeled. We will determine the P-Delta effect and compare the results with the manual calculations using the stiffness and geometric matrixes.
