Buckeyes making steady progress as practice No. 2 takes place

Spring Practice continues at the WHAC as session No. 2 took place on Thursday before the Buckeyes break for 'spring break'. While nobody is wearing pads yet and no black stripes have been lost, as of yet, the Buckeyes continue to make strides in their 15 practice sessions of the spring.

Is it just me or does Howard’s ball seem to hang a tick longer than it needs to? I bet his natural grip has his thumb too far toward the toe.

@@cincydabest sometimes it’s just alone little thing like a grip for example. I remember working with Cardale Jones at a camp his jr year. I got on him for blocking his left foot on mid to deep balls. He just looked down at me (because he’s huge) and said they get on him all the time at practice about it. By the time he had to step up and play that left foot was toward the target. Sometimes small changes make huge differences. He has great people around him. They’ll straighten him out.

Thank you for the footage. I know it’s only practice 2 and it’s routes on air but Devin really looks the most fluid and has the best ball. Howard crosses his feet big time during some of his drop backs. I think Lincoln kept a great stance and base during his drop backs. Give me DB QB1 - Lincoln QB2

DB is a good QB, just not durable. We need a starting QB that can take some hits. DB should be QB2.
