Salim is one of the most humble and monstrously talented musician. There was a time i used to watch bollywood films only because they have done the background score. They have paved a new way forward in film music. Kudos and respect.

Bade bade equipments se koi bhi kr payega. Hum jaise log midle class se bhi chhote ghro ke log jo sirf ek laptop midi headphones and vsts le k ghoom rhe hain. Budget nahi hai 50000 ka bhi aur mind me creativity hai. Krna chahte hain sound ke sath khelna chahte hain. Vo kaise apke music ka 10% bhi kr payein wo btao sir.plzzz sorry but sach yahi hai aditya sir apka questions bahut sahi hote hain. Luv u salim sir luv u sudeep audio and luv u aditya sir really

Mr. Salim Merchant is one of my favourite music composer who has a lot of experience in our Bollywood Industry, his compositions are heart touching. I wish you could have shared a few insights about composing the Ab Tak Chhapan score...it's one of my all time favourite scores...I still can't get the main piano riff/flute theme out of my head after all these years. Brilliant.
Once i programmed 2 punjabi bgm pieces for a client for 1000 ₹ (500 per piece) How can u record dhol live (as he said 1 project me kam paise mil jayega to mar thode hi jaoge) !! Music making field is filled with 90% financial struggle! Everybody wants to record in big studios like like ajay atul sir But no body wants to spend much money on their projects ! Harsh truth of Indian music Industry!

I wanted to know one thing...it is a strings that salim had used for a telugu song called "premalekha rasane ila"....its is kinda a having a strange amount of portamento....which gives a mellow glide to it
thanks sudeep audio for this. and thanks to salim sir. all those qoutes . it was like i am having a cup of coffee with salim sir. also i have a issue with audio in your videos. i don't know why but when salim sir is talking in low volume i increase my phone volume and then it hurts when suddenly he goes loud . i dont know what causes this , may be my earphone or phone has some issue : ( i am not that experienced or knowledge vala guy , i am still a beginer but maybe it has something to do with compression , maybe you should compress the audio , i don't know what else could fix this. may be you already put compression here and there is issue with my earphones .
