I have OCD as well but mine isn't that I have to certain things a certain amount of times. Mine is more like I get a thought in my head and I cannot let it go. I get so wrapped up in a thought and I twist and turn it and make it into something it isn't. I don't know if that makes sense or not. And I'm sure someone is probably going to say that it isn't OCD.
I have been here since the beginning (pink room, eye calibration and all) but I have never looked forward to your videos as much as I have lately. I feel like you've grown up and discovered who you are as a person. And I feel like you are so much more confident in that. Blair, My OCD got so bad when I was 14 that I couldn’t live my life normally. I wouldn’t walk on cracks, couldn’t do anything that involved odd numbers and I was terrified of germs. It was truly horrific. Once I had therapy and was medicated (I still am medicated and will be for life and I’m now 40) my life became easier. I still have OCD but it’s a lot more manageable these days. My Doctor actually prescribed me Puppies. I have had a few over the years and my two purebred Maltese and My Golden Retriever that I have now really do help give me something positive to focus on. Xxxx

Thank you for sharing your OCD story! I have a friend who I've known since 4th grade and her OCD went "haywire" freshman year in college to the point she would not live at home and had to live in a hotel room for about 2 years bc she believed it was more sanitary. She would not leave that room, and neither touch nor wear anything other than clean hospital scrubs. It's now more than 10 years later and over thanksgiving, I just saw her actually touch something with her bare hands--her pets--for the first time. It's always been baby steps and I have been so happy to see her progress and start to take control of her life again each year!
It really is so amazing to see you back on here. Your last condo tour (I think from two years ago?) is still my house goals. So for my QOTV: is interior designing or decorating something you always loved doing, or did you find it was a skill that developed over time/owning your own condo/home etc? Everything you put together is always so beautiful (ie: your new living room set up and of course the boys' sleeping space!).

i usually never comment on your videos, but now i really want to tell you something. it's so weird to type down, but you are and always have been my biggest role model. years ago i saw your face for the first time on the 'tube of you creating the day to night look of the monte carlo movie and ever since that day you literally have changed my life. it has gotten to the point where now you're back and i literally cry with every video i watch because i'm so indescribably glad you're back. i don't know what it is, but watching you is literal home for me. i've been through so much mentally and back then you were my ONLY happy place. i looked and look up to you so much. i'm also someone who remembers a lot about her past and when i think of juicystar07 SO many memories come back and i could just cry for hours how many things i loved about that. just thinking about your cute old (rainbow) bedroom at home makes me emotional. and the rack with all your handbags. and the headband you always had on while doing your makeup. and the many MAC products you owned. just everything is a reminder of how happy 1 little video made me. and now that we're both older & you've gotten so mature, i love it even more. oh blair, i hope you never ever stop filming anymore. it's my therapy and i'm so grateful for every vlog/video you put up. all your hard work, i see it! i see how good of a person you are to your friends, family and especially your dogs! big big love to you and i truly hope to one day meet you

I appreciate the more real and unique side. You and I are almost the same age and I've been a subscriber since we were both young teenagers. And i will admit I unsubscribed for quite a while where you could tell your heart wasn't in it and mainly focused on sponsored content. Watching you feel like you are really sliding into your own as a woman and being real is refreshing and I feel more connected to you again as how it used to be. It's been pretty awesome keeping track of where you are in your life through all these years.
I don't like sharing about my own mental health too much, but it honestly made me feel so much better to know that someone that is as successful as you also struggles with similar things. It makes me feel like I can be successful, too, and my anxiety, OCD, and depression has really held me back. I just recently started feeling like I could be successful, and it helps to know that other people that I look up to deal with similar things. I really truly appreciate you talking about it. I just started medication last month and I have trouble telling people about it because I almost feel embarrassed or like I'm going to get hate, so it really helped that you spoke up about it. Talking about it really helps break the stigma of being on medication, and that helps me feel like I do fit in somewhere. Thank you so so much! 💖💝❤️

Hi Blair! I would love if you could do a little video segment on taking care of dogs in an apartment. Idk if you've talked a lot about this before, but I'd be really interested to know any tips you have for keeping Teddy and Mochi in such good condition while living alone in a city apartment. Long story short, Elle did a sticker advent calendar that ran a little late getting out to people. It wasn't her fault because Etsy wouldn't allow her to print labels for the packages and she had to figure out a back door way to get the labels on to the packages. A good batch of people got very vocal and upset over the fact that their package hadn't shipped yet, and it just sorta became a PR mess. The vast majority of people were completely understanding and supportive, but the a handful of people were quite upsetting in the personal insults they were throwing. It all sorta got out of hand, and Elle made the announcement that she was not up to putting herself out there this year. It made me so sad, she handled everything gracefully and things were out of her hands, but so many people were vicious. She even had people who hadn't order the sticker calendar chewing her out.
Your authenticity and wisdom are inspiring. Been watching your videos for about 7 years and this side of you-authentic and wise (and also quirky) is the side that made me start watching in the first place!

Blair, I don't think theres anything wrong with being a homebody at all! I've spent a lot of time and love into making my home MY home. It's my comfort zone, it's where I'm honestly the happiness. It's where my fluffy white kitties are, it's where my boyfriend is. A LOT of people give me shit for that, and I mean A LOT. I'm only 22 so I don't think theres anything wrong with it. Others in my life do but I've learned to ignore those kinds of comments. I go out when I want to go out, and I'm sure you do the same! Your home is your home I think theres absolutely nothing wrong with spending time with your pups on any night of the week! I mean after all, they are happiest when you around too! :)

I have OCD as well but mine isn't that I have to certain things a certain amount of times. Mine is more like I get a thought in my head and I cannot let it go. I get so wrapped up in a thought and I twist and turn it and make it into something it isn't. I don't know if that makes sense or not. And I'm sure someone is probably going to say that it isn't OCD.

I have been here since the beginning (pink room, eye calibration and all) but I have never looked forward to your videos as much as I have lately. I feel like you've grown up and discovered who you are as a person. And I feel like you are so much more confident in that. It's kind of like the question... would you rather have 10 ok friends or 1 best one. Most of the people that are here now have been here... They've just been waiting for the real you!
Not gunna lie when I seen the title of the video I immediately thought Elle was pregnant when I realized she wasn’t got mad and left the video😂 but ended up finishing the video anyway because I can’t leave a video unwatched

I saw you lose your way and find it again. Thank you for sharing in these vlogs. You were one of my first role models and I am happy to see you living and being an exceptional human.
Blair, My OCD got so bad when I was 14 that I couldn’t live my life normally. I wouldn’t walk on cracks, couldn’t do anything that involved odd numbers and I was terrified of germs. It was truly horrific. Once I had therapy and was medicated (I still am medicated and will be for life and I’m now 40) my life became easier. I still have OCD but it’s a lot more manageable these days. My Doctor actually prescribed me Puppies. I have had a few over the years and my two purebred Maltese and My Golden Retriever that I have now really do help give me something positive to focus on. Xxxx

You were the first beauty guru I ever discovered, I remember you were in your pink Tennessee bedroom showing your hair routine. You were the older sister I never had and I'm so excited you're back on RUclips and I love how you're being more personal and real. Thought you were going to announce that you were becoming an aunty 😂. It's not easy living with anxiety but the fact you sit in front of you're camera and smash it is inspiring to many people. Thank you for sharing your OCD story! I have a friend who I've known since 4th grade and her OCD went "haywire" freshman year in college to the point she would not live at home and had to live in a hotel room for about 2 years bc she believed it was more sanitary. She would not leave that room, and neither touch nor wear anything other than clean hospital scrubs. It's now more than 10 years later and over thanksgiving, I just saw her actually touch something with her bare hands--her pets--for the first time. It's always been baby steps and I have been so happy to see her progress and start to take control of her life again each year!

It really is so amazing to see you back on here. Your last condo tour (I think from two years ago?) is still my house goals. So for my QOTV: is interior designing or decorating something you always loved doing, or did you find it was a skill that developed over time/owning your own condo/home etc? Everything you put together is always so beautiful (ie: your new living room set up and of course the boys' sleeping space!).

i usually never comment on your videos, but now i really want to tell you something. it's so weird to type down, but you are and always have been my biggest role model. years ago i saw your face for the first time on the 'tube of you creating the day to night look of the monte carlo movie and ever since that day you literally have changed my life. it has gotten to the point where now you're back and i literally cry with every video i watch because i'm so indescribably glad you're back. i don't know what it is, but watching you is literal home for me. i've been through so much mentally and back then you were my ONLY happy place. i looked and look up to you so much. i'm also someone who remembers a lot about her past and when i think of juicystar07 SO many memories come back and i could just cry for hours how many things i loved about that. just thinking about your cute old (rainbow) bedroom at home makes me emotional. and the rack with all your handbags. and the headband you always had on while doing your makeup. and the many MAC products you owned. just everything is a reminder of how happy 1 little video made me. and now that we're both older & you've gotten so mature, i love it even more. oh blair, i hope you never ever stop filming anymore. it's my therapy and i'm so grateful for every vlog/video you put up. all your hard work, i see it! i see how good of a person you are to your friends, family and especially your dogs! big big love to you and i truly hope to one day meet you

I honestly love the fact that you share your real you with us. Yes, doing the eyeball thing is definitely not something everyone does, but I do "not normal" things myself and knowing that you do have your little different things makes me feel less alone :-) thank you for that!
I appreciate the more real and unique side. You and I are almost the same age and I've been a subscriber since we were both young teenagers. And i will admit I unsubscribed for quite a while where you could tell your heart wasn't in it and mainly focused on sponsored content. Watching you feel like you are really sliding into your own as a woman and being real is refreshing and I feel more connected to you again as how it used to be. It's been pretty awesome keeping track of where you are in your life through all these years.
I don't like sharing about my own mental health too much, but it honestly made me feel so much better to know that someone that is as successful as you also struggles with similar things. It makes me feel like I can be successful, too, and my anxiety, OCD, and depression has really held me back. I just recently started feeling like I could be successful, and it helps to know that other people that I look up to deal with similar things. I really truly appreciate you talking about it. I just started medication last month and I have trouble telling people about it because I almost feel embarrassed or like I'm going to get hate, so it really helped that you spoke up about it. Talking about it really helps break the stigma of being on medication, and that helps me feel like I do fit in somewhere. Thank you so so much! 💖💝❤️

Long story short, Elle did a sticker advent calendar that ran a little late getting out to people. It wasn't her fault because Etsy wouldn't allow her to print labels for the packages and she had to figure out a back door way to get the labels on to the packages. A good batch of people got very vocal and upset over the fact that their package hadn't shipped yet, and it just sorta became a PR mess. The vast majority of people were completely understanding and supportive, but the a handful of people were quite upsetting in the personal insults they were throwing. It all sorta got out of hand, and Elle made the announcement that she was not up to putting herself out there this year. It made me so sad, she handled everything gracefully and things were out of her hands, but so many people were vicious. She even had people who hadn't order the sticker calendar chewing her out.

I somehow stumbled on to your vlogmas and I have now watched all of them. Blair, I don't think theres anything wrong with being a homebody at all! I've spent a lot of time and love into making my home MY home. It's my comfort zone, it's where I'm honestly the happiness. It's where my fluffy white kitties are, it's where my boyfriend is. A LOT of people give me shit for that, and I mean A LOT. I'm only 22 so I don't think theres anything wrong with it. Others in my life do but I've learned to ignore those kinds of comments. I go out when I want to go out, and I'm sure you do the same! Your home is your home I think theres absolutely nothing wrong with spending time with your pups on any night of the week! I mean after all, they are happiest when you around too! :)
