- 🌿Today was such a fun day and I'm excited to take you along with me. First I plan on taking you along as I pick up some of my FB Market finds, then I'm checking out a new antique mall in Oklahoma called: 3 Stand Vintage that is located at 4848 NW Expressway in Oklahoma City. I hope you 'lll check out if you get the chance because I know you won't be disappointed. Next I'll take you to the thrift store and then show you all of my finds.

I loved the shopping trip! My favorites are, the 2 adorable bowls, (worth the drive!), the white pedestal, the blue plate and the apples, they look so real! Enjoy your treasures. 🍎🍎🍎

Ha, I just found green and white butter pats at a senior home rummage sale, they do say kuntz’s cafe but I didn’t care, I loved them!!! I also found a green and white bowl. Loved all of your finds!!! Thanks for your prayers, I’m doing ok, each day brings a different emotion, I’ve gone through being terribly sad, lonely, empty, angry, confused, also unloveable as if something is wrong with me, among a million other emotions just like when there’s a death! It breaks my heart that you are having to deal with this. I was talking to God about it the other day, asking God to open your friends eyes to the truth. I'm praying that God will bring you the comfort and healing your heart needs but please know that YOU are very special and a blessing to so many people. If we lived closer I have no doubt we would be the best of friends, probably fighting over all the things we find because we would both want the exact same thing!! LOL!!! Good morning my sweet beautiful friend .It never ceases to amaze me how you can bring back so many wonderful memories in my life. Even as you are out antiquing you came across a scale and a ledger that took me back to my childhood. My papa owned a grocery store and the scale reminded me of being a little girl and would go next door to the store to the and get behind the meat counter and have my PaPa slice me some meat and get something to drink and have him join me and have lunch behind the meat counter on his butcher block. Since my grandparents house was next-door to the store joined by a patio I could spend a lot of time there. I just love spending time behind that old meat counter enjoying talks with my papa. So many year have gone by and my papa is in heaven but I will never forget how I loved that time in my life and how he took the time out to make one little girls life so happy..God bless. Jeanie I love that story, how amazing!!! Do you know the reason I bought this house was because of the old store that was beside it. I wanted to buy the store, but sadly when I required about it he had it tore down. The people that owned my house had a small grocery store next door. My house was wired so when anyone drove up it would ring the bell and they would walk out the door and over to the store. It was such a cool place and I was glad that I got to see it before he tore it down. We really are kindred souls in so many ways!!! Love you and I'm always so excited to hear from you.

Love the things you found thrifting. Those apples look so real. When you first showed them, I thought "oh, looks like she went to the grocery store on her thrifting trip". :) How precious are those three little china pieces you found in the bag. You found another Bible. Bibles just give me such piece and the New Testament Bibles remind me of being a little girl and having one of those just for me.
I was thrilled to have found those apples, I have almost bought some so many times. They really do look real. It always amazes me what you can find out thrifting. Bibles are one of my most favorite finds, but it seems like they are harder to find these days. When I do, it's always one of my favorite finds. Thank you precious fiend for watching!

It truly is so much fun just strolling through thrift and antique stores. I agree, it’s interesting to compare the pricing between all of them because it can be drastically different! Those yellow bowls were a great score! Perfect for summer! The round frame is gorgeous! I love the chippy look and it’s perfect! I can’t wait to see what you do with it! Those old jug crock brings back so many memories! Huge score on the apples! They can be so expensive! I have made so many faux caramel apples and I want to try doing candied apples this year! You know I love my blue and white! I’m still on the hunt for some whisk brooms. Great video sweet friend!❤

Hello. You found some sweet treasures. Green is my color! Loving the little green butter pat, creamer, and matching bowl. I believe the clear glass pieces are salt cellars. The little groove would be for the spoon.

You always find such great stuff! The bowls you got from Facebook Marketplace are amazing. I love the littke architectural piece too In the footage I saw a couple if things that brought back memories of my mom. The picture in the gold frame with children by a tree is the same picture my mom had hanging in her bedroom and it had been my grandma's. Sadly I don't know where it ended up after she passed away. In 2000 my family went to Paris with my parents and we found the original in the Louvre. I believe it was a Dutch painting but not sure. The little bulldogs and made me think of my mom. She had an English bulldog that she loved and she had a little cast iron one that she picked up someplace. Anyway it's always fun to see what you see in the stores and thanks for taking us along. This particular trip sparked some sweet memories for me.
Oh I love hearing about your Mom and I really did love that picture. Oh I wish you had it, I hate when you can remember things but have no idea what happened to them. I thought those cast iron dogs were just so cute. I really wanted so many things in that store. It would be so easy to spend all of my money buying all the beautiful things... Old antique & vintage photos and Victorian pictures and photos are my favorite pieces of art to collect! I loved that first picture & frame you looked at.. stunning! And the ornate frames.. another favorite to collect! I found a huge, beautiful ornate frame today with a very nice oil painting in it. I'm keeping the frame of course, the art is pretty but isn't my style. Its an expensive piece so not sure what to do about that 🤷♀️(i literally found it, long story lol) I do love country scenes and landscapes too. The baby drawings were precious😊 I have a storage room with all my extra decor.. lots of frames & art. Can't wait to get A bigger place so i can display everything!😊 That typewriter was pretty cool! I went antiquing the other day and had a little God wink. My mom always kept this certain Merita tin in her sewing machine drawer full of spools of thread & buttons. I was looking around the store and happened to look down & there was that exact same tin, full of thread! I just stood there, bout to cry. It had no price so i took it to the counter.. she was selling the tin for one price and the spools separately. I couldn't afford it, but i told her why i wanted it. She let me have all of it for price of the tin.. I was so thankful! I feel like i have a piece of my mom🥹..aint God amazing?! Aww the wheelbarrow was precious! I have the little red wagon like that😊 I got the little concrete girl sitting on a stool last summer, love her❤ Mmmm all that primitive & antique goodness.. so many gorgeous pieces!! Lots of beautiful dishes too! I want to start collecting some jadeite, ironstone and transferware pieces once i get moved and can get a hutch. Love your bowls, precious!❤ But that frame is awesome! I found a really old small chunky leather back bible the other day to, had been looking for one for awhile, God really showed up😉 You really found some amazing pieces! Thanks for taking us along! Oh that made me almost cry that God lead you to such a special piece that was just like your Mommas! I know God gives us those special things because He loves us so much! I think that is why I love the old stuff, because it tells a story and has a memory. I do love old frames too and I would LOVE a bigger house as well. I would love to build one on my land one day that is over by my sister. Precious friend, I will be praying that God opens the right door and bring you to the perfect house. I was just studying today the verse the says in John where God says, If you believe, I will show you my glory. God cares about everything and I know it takes faith that we sometimes have to really work to stand on to trust that God will not fail us. I'm standing in faith with you precious friend. Michele I think the small glass pieces might be ash trays but wow finding all that in one bag for that price is great, our Goodwill does not offer bags, I wish they did. You found some great items on that day, loved them all and my husband has his dad's old hammer and he has dementia and is about to give that to our son to then pass on someday to his son, I think that little hammer is adorable and sweet that you have one of your father's.
I'm so glad you told me the story of your husband having his dad's hammer and how it will get passed down. I just love to hear that! My daddy built the house that we grew up in, the one that my sister lives in now. He used that hammer and to me, it holds so much special meaning. I was just glad to find a small one that looks so much like His that I have. That might be silly to most but such a treasure to me and you. Thank you for letting me know about the small trays. usually when I see those wire baskets that you mentioned, they are in the $35 range. I use mine to display stone fruit....the fruit shows off so well in the wire basket

I often hear your regret about not bringing things home. Maybe you can take a cart with you so you can grab things as you see them? I often forget to double-back when I see things that I will consider.
