Tudor Revival homes were built to evoke homes from the 16th century. Their furnishings reflected this via early 20th century styles like Jacobean Revival. Tudor Revival homes in the 1920's and 30's had modern amenities, but they were intentionally disguised. Things like radios and telephones were hidden in period looking cabinets designed for the purpose. The intent wasn't to make rooms in these homes "museum" rooms, it was to create an illusion that people found charming then, and still do today. I don't see the point in filling a Tudor Revival home with furnishings that look like they came off the Starship Enterprise. It looks as strange to me as would a sleek, modern home, furnished with primitive antiques.
Gorgeous home!
Class

You’re right. We grew up around the old Gimbel estate & Ive always loved this style. Remember the first time I was in Bronxville. So many
I like the inside but the backyard view is so so.
Right? For a house to be in that spot for so long it should have many more trees & a pool
Coffered ceiling, not beams.
You can tell that’s temporarily decorated by people who setup furniture in stores. Should show it empty
My dream home 🏡 I just need to win lottery 😭😭😊
White inside a Tudor manor *UGH* .
Americans and their obsession with white interiors and white kitchens
