My spouse also didn't like any photos that they were in. Until they suddenly did (sometimes). But it takes a really good photograph to make someone get over the preconception that their image is, as they say "Brr. Horrible!". :) I think you're doing a good job helping people realise this, Christopher.

There is never a number displayed, though I can see from all the appreciative comments that lots of people like your videos. Have you any idea why the thumbs up is not functioning?
@@michelez715 RUclips either gave them a choice to show the number of thumbs up, or youtube took it away. I can't remember what I read, but I, too, noticed it quite a while ago.

Are you sure it may not be a problem on your end? RUclips stopped the public display of likes / dislikes a while ago, but you should still be able to like / dislike any individual video. Well done Alex and great that you found the comfort you needed at church. I tried turning to the church after a horrible break up but just found myself crying in the pews! Five years on I can go to church and more or less keep calm so that's progress. I wish I could find faith, some sort of oblivion.
💙Alex, It was suggested to me, that a congregation (of a church) gather to support those who may lack the strength to stand alone. I have always found this idea beautiful! It sounds as if you may have found such a place💙
@@Scapestoat Excellent thought/question. Having grown up in a family where I bore the weight (of the world) as a child, I find sharing my burden with others difficult even confusing. The anonymity or maybe the supposed unconditional love of a congregation/community is very hopeful to me. Hopeful that they might support me even when I lack the skills/can not ask for their help.
@@dudley8671 I come from a similar childhood, at least as far as the carrying more than a child should have. So I know that asking for help is the hardest thing in the world. I am not religious, so I an unlikely to join a church community, but I can tell you that any community doesn't need you to have specific skills or has high expectations. They merely expect you to be forth-right and try to do your best. The concept of "pay it forward" is also a part of a healthy community. (as in, don't pay back kindness, but pay it forward - as in, be kind to someone else in the future, who is in need of it) I'm interested in hearing your thoughts around the concept of "not being strong enough". In my head, if someone else calls me "not strong enough", my defences go up. And I feel insulted. Though I know that other perspectives exist.. :)
What a truly beautiful and amazing young woman … things happen for a reason, I think there is always a reason, the outcome can be the doh g of yourself, someone else or aggregation of many sources the old cause and effect is so important to understand. But this is no excuse to judge others and any judgement we apply to ourself should be honest but true and not overly critical but accept ourselves for who we are but like I say, be honest. I believe this young lady will have a wonderful future and I wish her all the very best and such beautiful photographs at the end, to the lady in question, and this applies to me too, we need to learn to love ourselves ❤ Blessings, kindness and love to Chris and the lady in the video and everyone else who is watching let’s make the world a better place ❤❤
lovely channel ......Christopher can I ask please about your equipment and lens set up etc. I have a Nikon 700 and a decent lens but its always on auto. Id like to be able to blur out the background and get that sharpness that you get. I dont know how you decide who to stop and photograph but do you always get a positive reaction or do sometimes people walk away or even worse be nasty to you.? well done
