Very informative! I had an accident a month ago, I was rear ended. When I took my car to the shop they told me they’ll get an estimate in less than a week. It’s been a month and my car is still parked at the street. I had an argument with the front office guy and he said was sorry I don’t have personal. I told him why he kept telling me that he’ll get an estimate when he is not doing anything. After a month I took my car to another shop. I wonder if I can sue the body shop for negligence my car? They kept telling me I’ll get your car estimate today but did not did anything. Now before I took my car to another shop he told me there is a high chance it is a total loss. I am more angry with the shop than the other insurance which accepted total fault.

I panic and said to my insurance that i was driving for uber so state farm denied liability. Uber insurance has taken the claim and im waiting for the adjuster to say whether or not its totaled. Im Fairley confident that its going to be totaled although the damage is to only one side. How should i go about negotiating a higher price for my vehicle?
