This is one of those things you shouldn’t cheap out on especially in a old car like that it’s important for your safety I have a 97 hatch and I rather run FIA approved seats and pay the extra knowing it’s gonna work as well if not better then oem when done right
@@TLark Um. No. You don't have enough bracing for that. The seat base of an OEM seat has a frame. Racing seats require you to supply that. That seat will snap into a bunch of bits in an actual crash. Hopefully you walk away in one good piece man. Stay safe.

It’s installed safely and wouldn’t go anywhere if you were in a crash same as if you were to use OEM seats
