The endings to Saw 2's story sound like the endings to The Force Unleashed 2. One ending makes the player's efforts pointless in the end along with coming off as confusing while the other ending sets up a sequel that ended up getting cancelled.

Saw 5 is undoubtedly, unarguably, undeniably the worst Saw movie. It’s the only one that is completely pointless. As the audience, we already know Hoffman is Jigsaw while Straum is hunting for him. Then, when the big confrontation happens, it feels so cheap and lame for Hoffman to get away unscathed. The biggest sin of Saw 5 is how much it focuses on flashbacks. You could skip this entirely and finish the series without missing a thing.
See for me I can't put SAW 5 last because that was the first one I watched and got me into the series to begin with but I definitely get what you're saying and you're right. An easily skipped entry

I actually prefer this game over the first one. I like the asylum location and one of the endings of the first game better than this game but this game brought a ton of new puzzles to the table. There’s more to this game than the first one. Combat never bothered me, in fact idk how the combat is worse in this game cuz this game the opponents actually made my health go down whereas in the first game I would just box them out with no damage. At least in this game I got damage while boxing them out. This game is still wonky for sure and I don’t like the Edward scissorhands element or the endings at all. But the graphics are better than the first game and the light actually works whereas the first game I couldn’t see anything at all. I love the shotgun carousal and a lot of the puzzles in this game. They do get a little repetitive but it took longer to feel repetitive than the first game. Within an hour or two of the first game I felt the puzzles were recycled a lot but in saw 2 the puzzles were so different it takes a while to get burnt out on them. Also this game gives you a challenge. This game is much more challenging and the first game is just way too easy. Only two parts of the first game did I find them to be challenging but in this game I felt a challenge all throughout the entire game play. I find this game much better than the first saw game.

I think I have to say I don't understand why so many people talk about how bad this game is in comparison to the first with the exception of the poor story telling. I decided to get and platinum the first saw after your video on it and I'm about halfway through it and gotta say it's grueling lol. The combat is so terrible feeling hearing the second one changed it to QTE sounds like a godsend 😂 which to be fair I don't typically get into survival horror games so that doesn't help but your video got me interested in trying it and I've made it far enough now I'm committed and gotta finish it but I am not looking forward to it lol.

I had no plans on doing the plat for this game but since I've been getting a lot of the more expensive titles on Vimm's Lair I might as well try Saw II, and while it was easy to obtain the platinum, it was also the most frustratingly boring videogame I've ever had to complete. The first Saw game was 100% so much better, and as a big Saw fan it was great. But this Is just literal dogshit.
