The Snapware set at 17:17 is the plastic set, not glass. For those of us who are slowly swapping out plastic for glass, I’m waiting patiently for Costco to bring back the glass Snapware. .

Just an FYI, Costco will be bringing back the glass snapware. They were recalled, why you cannot currently find them anywhere..
The glass ones were on sale a week and a half ago at my local Sam's Club in South Jersey. The brand is GlassLock. I bought a set years ago, and I'm very happy with them. I have never used them in oven or microwave. I'm very wary of temperature shock to glass.
My opinion: they keep food better and longer in the fridge. Easy to clean. The plastic lids will absorb odor, just like any plastic. So when I'm putting something with strong odor in them (not often), I cover with wax paper, then snap the lids. Gotta do what ya gotta do.
Only drawback for me: glass is heavy, and my arthritic hands and stenosing spine do get put to the test. But I'm standing my old lady ground to create less waste, store food safely, and protect the environment the best I can. Glad to meet like-minded people here.

I purchased the blackout blinds from Costco a couple months ago for the same price. Sure, they blocked most of the light, but the best feature is that they create an insulating layer of air that helps keep the interior room much warmer. 😊
And cooler during summer months!

@lillypatience sorry. This exact product is what I purchased. It took another 45 to 60 days to find a suitable curtain rod.

The plastic snapware is nowhere as good as the glass version. I would suggest people wait for that if possible.

The quality of snap Ware has had a noticeable decline in the past few years, my dad bought some a decade ago that are still perfect, I bought some about three years ago and three or four of the lids didn’t seal properly out of the box and most of the rest are beginning to noticeably wear out and fail

The quality of the snap lids have declined. I have the glass ones and Mine are breaking like crazy and they’re still pretty new. 😢

I agree that wind chimes made from strips of metal and some glass don’t have the most pleasant of sounds. Some are downright grating to my sense of aesthetics. I have always had a bamboo wind chime, and find the hollow wooden “clunking” a much more pleasant sound to my sense of wellbeing. It’s natural, earthy almost, and strikes an ancient connection to Peoples long past who beat on hollow logs for rhythm.

I'm one that actually likes the sound,, my neighbor had a large one hanging on her second floor deck/ balcony and I loved the sound. She then moved it farther out to her side yard and I can't hear it anymore,.. sad. I would get my own but I really don't have any good place to hang it. Double Sad. : (

As someone with a bidet, I can assure you, getting one that requires power is the only way to go...you don't want a cold water wake up call down there. I paid an electrician to install a power outlet for mine and the heated seats and heated water is the only way to go.
What’s the best way to clean a bidet? I can’t find a good detailed RUclips video on it.

We got a Tushy that didn't require electricity to heat. It hooks into the hot water supply from the sink (our setup allows for this)
@rowan729I'll just say that if you were to get one that was fully powered, you would probably not want to go back to the non-powered version.

Matt, as someone who sold commercial pressure washers, that's a good machine; it has pressure AND good GPM. A bit overpriced, as yet, but a good machine.

I’ve had that ninja coffee maker for several years and I paid the same price for it at Costco. It’s a fantastic machine.
I grabbed it for $80 at Costco last year and have been absolutely loving it. Not to mention Ninja has the best warranties!

Watch the sodium info on any ready to eat meals. It is usually crazy high which makes them unhealthy for many people.
Yes, especially the pad Thai. Its terribly full of sodium, sugar and fat, high carb too. As delicious as it is, I cant have that anymore😮

That bench costing more than the picnic table is crazy.
Get a Toto toilet add-on to create a bidet. They call it a washlet and we asked our electrician to make an outlet near our toilet. It wasn't a lot of money and now, in the winter, we enjoy a heated seat, a warm water wash and an air dry if we want. Yes, worth every penny. We use less toilet paper and feel better cared for. But who's kidding? Its the warm seat in the winter that makes me smile when I sit down. We just wish we got it sooner.
