love the video, would love to see you further modify it, changing the motor to be able to control the exact speed with an esc, adding a servo for steering. would be a really fun project
The issue is the ESC most definitely blows up if you upgrade the motor for something more powerful or faster and if I understood properly you'd want the ESC to be incremental and not all on or all off which you would need a new chip for the ESC that recognises the controllers different signal for strength of throttle and in the worst case you'd need to switch out all the electronics because they seem to be all on a single board.
I'd recommend looking into a metal ammo case just incase of a lipo bursting to avoid the plastic one burning and making either a mess or letting the fire burn something else. Love these types of videos where something is overvolted to work faster and/or stronger than it is meant to, only issue I'd see it having is the ESC blowing up from too much voltage but the motor should work just fine on a 2S lipo in the long run.
