Your video was very helpful. I followed your instructions to the tee, including getting the exact same battery at Batteries Plus Bulbs. I would add that you’ll probably need to order the battery online and pick it up at the store. They won’t have it on the shelf because it’s not exactly the latest technology.

    Thanks for uploading this!
You said you were originally going to get the 700mAh battery, but got the 1100 mAh one instead. Do you notice that you can go without charging it for longer periods now? Seems as if you should be able to do so, with more than 50 percent more battery capacity.
I have had one of these trimmers for many years, but the battery won't take enough of a charge for even one use anymore. I bought a newer trimmer from another company that is great -- except that it likes to bite me on the regular if I try to use it without a blade guard, which I do when I don't want to actually shave. The Norelco might have bitten me twice in all the years I used it in the same situation. I'm glad to see that changing the battery seems easy enough. The Norelco trimmer does everything I need -- it would be great if they offered a new version that had higher battery capacity and maybe a USB charger. I wonder if the battery can be replaced with a lithium ion battery.
