agreed. the jail section in particular is just...unnerving, to me. I think its the fact that leon walks after ada and suddenly you hear a wail of absolute tortured pain and...you enter the jail, turn the corner, and you look into the cell to see the flaming birkin...absolutely scary as shit.
Doesn't matter to Leon because he has his RE4 jacket. And everyone knows he's experienced already at that point.

@@Rollbrand370 Leon Jacket from RE4 can handle any monster. He literally obliterated half of Spain AND the monsters all by himself. He can smash Nemesis too, of course.

It takes me 5 hours to complete the game with regular zombies, but you did it in one hour and a half with bosses just unbelievable 💣💣💣💣
In all fairness this video is hour and a half but all instances where he died and all cutscenes etc. Have been edited out to keep runtime short.
Ya i was gonna say that too that's now his long it takes, but if you watch this run you know this man played this game hundreds of times before attempting it, so that should make u feel better. I've played about 4 times front to back and i don't even kno where everything is. Damn this is awesome, he knows where EVERY SINGLE ITEM IS.....
@@tonyrisklive1648 not to brag or anything, but you don't really need to run the game hundreds of times to get a sub 2 hour run. I got a 1h57m run with claire (b scenario) and a 1h51m with leon (b Scenario as well, you need under 2 hours for S or S+). And I only played the game a handful of times before that. There are some really good guides even for newer players that make getting S+ rank on hardcore easy.

@@genesisosunalikewise, granted I used the Everyman’s Guide by Darkness which helped me with my first S+ rank but from there I built off from it and had also only played the story about 4-5 times before achieving S ranks for both Claire and Leon. You kind of just reach a point of skill in the game where you can memorize most things and also discover strategies to glide through the boss fights, really love the RE2 remake all in all, speed run or not.

I never knew about the broken wall between the cells in the parking garage. I always waited until Mr. X came down the hall so I could maneuver around him. This saves time.

A gameplay without a safe place would be great. That Mr X can enter any area, no matter what it is and you have to be in constant motion

Birkin's voice actor did a perfect job. It sounds very funny and weird but that's the sound you make when the virus is mutating inside your body and you're feeling every bit of pain of it.
That one zombie at 16:59 is so confused at the sheer fuckery that’s going on, that it doesn’t know what to do.
Why capcom doesn’t implement modes like this in the game? I mean it’ll be so fun and challenging and it’ll add tons of replayability! Pc players are lucky :(

@Josh is incredibly tired. yes indeed but there are some devs are trying to bring the pc mods experiences to consoles like Bethesda and MS with the latest flight sim, I hope more devs just enable user created mods for console gaming especially for linear and short games like RE it would increase the average time for playing the game and it would help increase the game sales
@@user-en5gu3dd9j the fallout/skyrim mods available on ps4/xbox one/PS5/x1x are NOTHING compared to the amount of mods you can run on pc. There's many mods you can't run on consoles. I bought both games on the psn store and stopped playing both as soon as I got a gaming laptop. There is no comparison, not yet.

Couple questions: The licker animation at 14:58... When you cross by it afterwards in the hallway, is that the zombie corpse on the wall? It looks like it's missing an arm.
How come most of the dogs don't get changed to bosses, but they were changed to lickers in the other vid? ( 23:20 )
