Finally a system that isn’t about how to make videos!!! Well done. This is how I use my set up too with the native apple apps. I do find some people get too caught up in shiny apps and forget that they’re about actually getting stuff done

My iPad Pro 13 inch is my daily computer, i use it for all my scripting with Apple Notes, record my videos with my iPhone with a USB-C Mic then Airdrop that to my iPad to edit it all together with Lumia Fusion and finish off using Photoshop to edit my thumbnails and Adobe Express to often re-size images. Pro Create I also use a lot with Apple Pencil for yearly digital Birthday and Christmas cards for friends and family as well. Might actually do a video on this.

Brilliant content - this is really useful, practical, applicable and refreshing. As you mentioned, as good as much of the bigger RUclipsr productivity content can be, there is an oversaturation of guides on how to be productive…in the the art of making videos…about productivity! Most people aren’t living in that sort of meta, self-fulfilling loop, so thanks for taking us through some real world, relatable examples.

I’m thinking of getting the iPad Pro M4 13 inch 256GB before the year is over that is the goal. I already started saving my coins. Currently I’m rocking the iPad Pro 2020 11 inch 128GB and I’m over due. Mind you the iPad is my all time favorite tech device.

I am eager to set something like this up for our next project! I wonder - is there a way to integrate Numbers or Notes or something to manage the BUDGET part of a project? I find that without our general budget in view, it’s hard to narrow down options on a shopping or priority list

Excellent video! Most videos on the iPad talk about it from the content creator perspective, which the majority of us aren’t, so their points don’t apply to us. Life projects however, everyone has at some point in life (reno, a trip, big purchase etc), so showcasing the iPad in this context is super helpful. For example, I didn’t pay much attention to Freeform before, which can really elevate the iPad experience significantly as you demonstrated.
The only caveat to this is that most people don’t really need the bells and whistles of the iPad Pro and will be just fine with the iPad Air. You can save quite a bit of money by going with the air vs the pro.

You can’t use Pro Photoshop or Capture one. These are mobile apps. Plus I can’t use photomechanic on it as well as organized the photos when I import it. And after finishing a video on cap cut the export time is very slow over the CapCut on MacBook.

I like the iPad.. I think the love and hate came from the Apple marketing of “what’s a computer” as it just rubbed people up the wrong way. It’s not a replacement as you need a laptop but it’s a good complimentary device.

Yes I would agree. I wasn’t really taking the angle that “this is because of the M4 specifically” - just so happens to be the latest model. I can see how the title would make you think that 😆. More M4 chip/pro model specific vids to come in the future though!

@@jamalbdeirmicrosoftcloudbu1203 more portable and friendly to hold, especially in bed when I watch RUclips for hours. I use it more for light use cases than video editing or watching movies where a large screen would be more nessecary. I buy a lot of Apple gear and getting small version is small way to save money on device and keyboard. I also hand my devices down to wife or kids and they are better off with 11 inch. And… I’ll be moving from Mac Studio to MacBook Pro again (16 inch) so I don’t need two mobile devices with large screens. That’s where I’m at!
