where do i start ? i desperately wanted a positive experience with my first Redline Bicycle purchase since i was 13 years old ! What i did experience was far from positive and even further from the nostalgic visit down memory lane i had hoped for. 2 weeks ago i purchased a 2021 Monocog based entirely off of website description and images, published reviews and my very askew perception of what used to be one hell of a solid bike manufacturer. what I received was a bicycle that was very poorly assembled, included incorrect assembly tool kit, had extreme manufacturer defects, was delivered with parts not reflected in web description or imagery and were substandard, and left me having to invest in tools and an absurd amount of time to correct. The compaies attempt to resolve was about as poor and unacceptable as the merchandise which was delivered. they offered to send me new cranks to replace the extremely defective ones which came delivered, and an additional set of the wrong tires, which leaves me with 2 sets of tires i dont want nor paid for. oh yea, and they threw in a free pump and tool kit, which will be absolutely useless to me upon arrival. So who is going to do the install and repairs ? who is going to compensate me for my time lost, money lost, and all the joy i hoped to experience with my investment just sucked dry ? i feel no sense of ownership , confidence or pride with this purchase which i am entitled to when spending $1000 of my hard earned money !!! You guys really blew it here, i was ready to buy a stabe of Redline bicycles had this experience want well. now i hate this bike before even having a chance to ride it. Killer Job !!!
Looks like a great bike but $800 bucks for essentially a beach cruiser with mountain bike, handlebars, and seat is a little too steep for me. I’m not going to lie, I would love to have one though lol!

There are a ton of great options out there from RockShox, Fox, Manitou, DVO. We would recommend contacting your local bike shop and see what they say
