the simplest way to get the original exhaust off is it remove rear shock on the an drop the bike a couple inch i got a car jack under the engine so the bike dont drop an you can jack it back up to fit the rear shock or you will struggle getting it out
great video, i followed your instructions but to get the silencer out i released the header pipe bolts enough to wiggle the silencer loose and then it would not pass through the swing arm so i sat on the bike and bounce the rear suspension once and it dropped through.
You prolly dont give a shit but does any of you know a way to log back into an Instagram account? I somehow lost the account password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me!
@Colten Braxton i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and I'm in the hacking process now. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
There is no difference in putting this instead of any other more expensive exhaust on this particular bike. However, you should always do an ecu reflash/powercommander installation and tune when you change the exhaust. For me it worked fine anyways though. I had no issues with backfires during enginebraking or such.
@@juvaprkl if it runs well and doesn backfire too much. you probably don't need to tune it. However, if you've seen a fairly large change in either acceleration or top speed i'd recommend a tune.
Hey buddy, I know this video is kinda old, but can you tell me which tools did you use to take out a lil bit the 3 ones from the exhaust pipe (front). It seems I need something to reach out to them without taking out the radiator. Thanks in advance!
Honestly, the 125 is such a small engine. I couldn't see any performance loss at all without a map. I would say don't bother mapping it, just get a new exhaust
@@matiasulrich8680 ok, I used the original gasket for that. (The one that was already installed on the pipe) If you don't have it you can just order a new one from your local dealer or get one from eBay
dobbi luther I couldn’t find it on ebay. What should I search? The original got busted 😕😕😕. Im desperate lol I need to put it on. Maybe pegatex for mufflers will work
I have 2016 Duke390 and I did same; decat + midpipe + sc project exhaust with catalytic silencer and I even got rapid bike easy afr module. Sounds amazing, low end torque and 0-100 are nice but top speed decreased compared to original exhaust. I was getting 175 before, now I am getting 150-160 max. I don't understand why.
@@loganrowell5771 I did not get you exactly friend. I just pulled out the original muffler system (that also contains cat) and put there to midpipe + sc project muffler . I assume there is one type of midpipe for bs3 Duke's.
hi, mine too has a low exhaust like yours, but is it possible to add a tailpipe without removing the catalyst? Or should the catalyst also be replaced?
Hey buddy, how did you modify the original exhaust? Sounds great. I got one of these babies coming very soon. Is there simply a baffle you can remove from the stock exhaust?
It's a DIY I cut the old one off and bolted a bracket into the old holes in the plastic. I then just bolted the license plate to that bracket. Boom, finished! Only took about 2 hrs or so :)
I don't think the music volume is that high that you can't hear what I'm saying. It's just there super low volume in order to give the video a little vibe.
What do you mean? I literally replaced the whole silencer in this video. If you mean the baffle, here's where I showed how to remove it: ruclips.net/video/2-xIbrd3rrQ/видео.html

Dude i cant pull the old exhaust out. Any tips? I use rc200
i have a question is it ilegal to remove that exhaust and put the one you made ?
The exhaust has to be ce certified. The laws are different for most countries tho
Does something happen bad to motor if you put fake exhaust

Can you send the link to these products??
why u did not show the video how to take out the catalytic converter
It is located inside the original exhaust that i swapped out. To take that out of the original can you need to cut it open
Where can I buy this system any links ?

No, everything is in one piece. You would need a complete new halfpipe

Remove the heat Shield and Dremel a hole in the side of it behind the Shield, then reinstall the heat Shield and it will look stock

Are your chain rusty or painted?
It's painted orange from the factory. It's an X-ring chain from RK
Does it sound better why change it ???!
it's basically just for the great sound, on these smaller bikes there are basically no horsepower/torque gains to be found
Will running the bike without the end can damage the engine ? Cos without it it sounded pretty nice.
You should not run it without a muffler of any form. It can lead to overheating, valve damage etc.
Does it damage the engine after a period of time
