Hello from Portugal. I bought a second unit of this amazing camera but I cant make it work, the cam does not read the qr code. I tried and tried, retried and nothing! I had no problems setting up the first unit some months ago and it still works. Now I removed it from my Mi account and tried to add it again and guess what... same problem. Both cams wont read the qr code. I need help.
Please tell me. What happen next, did it work? The same problem with me the app can't rear the QR whatever I do, what should I do?

But I followed all your steps and the issue with mine it is that my mobile phone is not able to recognize the camera when I tried to ad it when I am scanning by bluetooth, I can´t even ad the camera by hand because nothing appears... Cant make it work. Its 2019 and there is no option for mainland china. Only China, so i pick that and it still shows restriction. Seems like latest updates made sure you cant use this outside China.Useless product outside china.

Hi! Thanks for the tutorial. I can make it connect when my mobile is on same wifi as the camera. When I'm on 4g, the app cant connect with the camera. The camera version is chinese and Im in Brazil. Do you have a solution for that?

always connection timed out and needs to try again and again.Im using J2 samsung.
i lost few hairs trying to figure out how to connect my xiao fang to my phone. It kept on giving me "connection timeout" error msgs. FInally it worke with the MiHome 3.9.20. Install this version if from apkmirror.com if you have issues connecting your camera to the phone. it was so frustrating!
