Hey Sotek! This stream was truly great fun! Especially enjoyed seeing you guys fight against those Skaven hordes and of course that Grom Peak siege. Really hope you guys will be able to play TW: Warhammer together more often. Loved the banter, vibes and small lore discussions!

This was incredibly fun to watch, I watched through the whole thing on Andy's Stream. But I wanted to make a comment. I know it's a little out of place, but playing The Dwarfs since the new update, I can't help but think about the things I'd like to see in the Lizardmen. The LM are my favorite faction, and are actually how I found you, coincidentally being called the Loremaster of Sotek made it easier to find you, while looking for lore, as TW:WH brought me into the setting, and I didn't really get into it until WH2 when the Lizardmen came out and I was like, damn, That... I want... anyways. I've always felt like the Lizardmen are supposed to be a taller playstyle, much like how the Dwarfs now play. However, I think there are a few things that can/should be done differently. Instead of getting the deeps, the Lizardmen can get a mechanic like the Dwarf Key Settlements (which I think every faction should have some level of, and have mechanics engaging around them, like the Empire getting some bonuses for holding the core empire lands, like Dwarfs generating grudges against anyone holding the Dwarf Settlements) In this case I think we lean into the Temple City Aspect, where all the Temple Cities, and Minor Temple Cities, (being lizardmen Major Settlements and Minor Settlements respectively) where upgrading them cost more, but you have access to one tier higher than can normally be built (T6 for Temple Cities, and T4 for Minor Temple Cities) where things like the Engine of the Gods, and the "Tame" Dread Saurian, perhaps the Thunder Lizard some day, can be. And possibly getting some new units, that have crazy old one tech etc. as you're bringing back the glory of times past (and I do mean they should be expensive, as I envision the T6 being like 100k or something, and taking a considerable amount of time to build, Harkening to the extreme resource costs it would take to really bring back the Golden Age, that has long since passed.) This allows the Lizards to build up in the late game unlike anyone else, which makes sense, at least to me, as they've managed to re-establish themselves, and bring back the old one tech that their cities run on. They then can rework the Geomantic web, which I think should be a major rework, that I cannot think of all the cool things they could do with it. But this also means that they could build better Geomantic Pilons in their Major Temple Cities than anywhere else, which means that in their core territory they can get even better bonuses. (similarly, I think that certain major settlements around the world should also count as MTC's with some small lore bit about the old temple cities buried under the cities of the younger races, from the times of old.) I think this could give the lizardmen some much need depth to their gameplay, as the core faction just needs a rework, even just small amounts of changes to make them feel unique. I hope that we get another major DLC some day, but I don't really see it happening soon. That being said, If you've managed to make it this far, now for my most controversial take, given that Skinks are about human sized, can we please get Saurus to be large entities? I know that would change their balance, but it would also make them a bit more unique as they're so reliant on monstrous units compared to so many factions. But with Saurus just towering over normal human/elf infantry it always felt so weird that they weren't large entities.

I also think that every faction should have some rudimentary level of item crafting (some factions should be better at it than others, for instance the Dwarfs) (perhaps the Lizard Mens can be tied to the Armory building, where there can be multiple tiers, each tier giving access to another level of equipment, they can also do something that makes having many of them beneficial/necessary as well as having it tied to higher tier units). The other thing That I think really needs to get reworked for the Lizardmen is Blessed Spawnings. Currently they're relegated to completing missions, but having some sort of mechanic where you can generate them more reliably is really important, Currently there's the Age of Reckoning System for the Dwarfs that give them their blessed spawning units (Grudge Settlers). There are rules and systems around getting them, and how many you can have in an army that can be modified with abilities and techs, but Currently the Lizardmen feel weird being forced to complete missions for theirs, which often means that I don't have many, and the ones you do have are pretty random, so a rework of the Blessed Spawning would be huge. (perhaps being local recruitment pools, and the frequency of a blessed spawning can be altered with a Spawning pools building or something? but it will only generate Blessed Spawning's of the units you have military buildings for in that settlement?). I think these 3 things would really make the Lizardmen feel incredible, and basically complete until possibly a capstone DLC, where we get Terror Bird Riders, Tetto'Ekko, and a couple of other things, some time far in the future.

That tier 6 building idea sounds really cool, but I see it being more like it just being more slots available. I just started the old world mod tonight and it's surprising how much of a difference settlement slots make the game feel. Skavenblight having 13 slots, hell pit being made from 9 layers, karak 8 peaks having 8 peaks.

Hey Sotek, I had a question about dwarfs. since you can have slayer engineers (engineers that had to take the slayer oaths but still practice their craft) can there also, in the same sense, be a slayer runesmith?

@@alfredmontjovet2024 Hence the feedback: telling what I liked, what I didn't and what can be done to improve so I'll continue to watch/sponsor/giveaway. It goes without saying byt they are of course free to ignore it, I think it's still better than to say nothing and don't provide inputs to content creators.
