I am debt free as well and it is a life of freedom. I grew up very poor and my parents did not have any credit cards or debt. My parents instilled in me and my brother and sister that if we don't have the cash to pay for something then, you either you do without or get a job and earn the money to pay for what you want. I worked full time in college and put myself through nursing school without taking out any school loans. I lived a frugal lifestyle in college and I lived within my means. During the duration of college and nursing school, I was on the struggle bus for several years and I even sold plasma for extra cash. But all the hard work and sacrifice has paid off because I am living comfortable now.

I think when people work hard and sacrifice, they appreciate so much more what they do have later in life!

I gave up cable years ago and don't miss it. I have a LCD TV and an antenna which has like 40 + channels on it for free and some are cable shows that maybe old shows but I don't care. I mostly watch the old detective shows and comedy's anyway.

Always maintain hope, as storms can fortify individuals and are temporary. Keep pushing forward, as challenging times can lead to life's greatest moments, and tough circumstances can ultimately build strong individuals.

Just found your channel and it is so calming and kind. I absolutely love it!! A few questions if you do a Q&A: how was home schooling? Did your kids / you enjoy it? And how is living in NJ vs. NC? I am from CT and we are looking to buy in NY, CT, or NJ. ☺️

I started that in November. instead of holding on receipts I always keep a little pocket notebook from Walmart and I keep track of everything. It has helped me so much if you don't spend on extras you will make it just fine. I am surviving on my own and I have a rent and I am paying down debt. What i did do is I got rid of amazon prime reduced my phone bill and stopped eating away from home. God is truely supplying for me.

I see so many squander $$ , I don’t think they realize how holding back could help them in their future.

I would never have a credit card.mits like borrowing. Money you cant afford.nIf I can't afford to pay cash I don't need it Seen many pepe and family members ruin their lives going into debt. And when it came time to buy a house forget the bank turned them down for the loan sad. So you young people out there watch your credit cards it may come to haunt you later😮😮😮
