That was a lot of work and great job. Personally I liked the warmth and country vibe of the original bathroom over the industrial monochrome look of the renovation. That's just the style we have embraced today for whatever reason. Good job regardless.
This is brilliant! Where did you learn to do all of this? I’ve observed many of your videos, fixing phones and computers, but I would’ve never imagined just how many things you knew how to do yourself! Really well done video as always.
Thank you! I got that door from Lowe's: Encore Matte Black 56-in to 60-in W x 76-in H Semi-frameless Sliding Shower Door www.lowes.com/pd/DreamLine-Encore-76-in-H-x-56-in-to-60-in-W-Semi-Frameless-Bypass-Sliding-Satin-Black-Shower-Door/1000453703 I went with this model as it doesn't require the frame to be attached to the wall studs.
The orange floor sheets and wall materials are a water proofing system invented by company called Schluter. Used for preventing leaks and water damage. The orange waffle looking floor product is called DITRA and the walls have KERDI membrane. They are famous from the metal edging. On the expensive side but I think the best waterproofing product. This is their site: www.schluter.com/schluter-us/en_US/
I'm surprised that the bathroom (or maybe the entire building)is constructed of wood. Here in South Africa, all the buildings are solid, being built with brick (or block), cement, and concrete. Yet we are not subjected to hurricanes or tornados!
One company who came to do an estimate wanted to charge me 19,000 for the work I just saw. Same size bathroom, same kind of remodel. Is that accurate or am I getting taken for a ride !!?? I was expecting to spend 7-8k, NOT 19k
Where are you located? Maybe your area has low competition? It is a high quote, but sometimes companies do that because they are only willing to book who will pay the most because they are booked up enough.
@ I doubt it was that, he was able to start by Jan 2nd. They even wanted to charge me $950 to convert 1 light fixture into 2. And they were only 4 feet apart with the old fixture right in the middle. That’s ridiculous
The remodel looks so cold and soulless. The grey and white color scheme just dates it because so many people nowadays over use those two colors when trying to modernize their house. Stuff like this is why I prefer the look of old arts and craft homes that feels more warm, lived in, and timeless. To many people are going for that 4 star hotel look and is flooding the house market with houses all having the same no personality look with the white and grey paint jobs.
All I can picture is the white soap scum on the dark metal fixtures and, faucets and knobs. Ugh. Plus the dark tile on the base of shower. Cleaning nightmare
This is great. The speed and the amount of detail is a 10/10.
Thank you

Excellent craftsmanship. Would be nice if more people were trained to take this level of pride in their craft. Well done!
Great work. Upgraded, but still have only fixed showerhead, handheld showerhead is awesome addition.
Wow first class work and great video editing!
This made me “feel” like I could do this to my 4x4 guest bathroom, but I know I would quick ¼ of the way through. Great job

I finished remodeling my basement bathroom 5 months ago now I am ready to remodel it again......
Can a baseboard heat be moved across to the opposite wall?
really nice job...

amazing
Thanks. And you are also amazing.
how long it took for you to finish this and how much us the costing?
I want a walk-in shower. I am considering doing this myself.
I would reroute the toilet and vanity supply lines inside the walls, but great job!
Perfect
Nice job. You skipped the shower pan and curb install; assuming Kerdi, as well? Floor register in bathroom, not on exterior wall?
This person looks to be an expert. Let me see the end result
What was the name of the glass door you used for the shower. I want to get the same one for my bathroom. Love the design on that one.

for 4:32, May I ask what the orange-colored floor is? What is its purpose? How should it be handled?

@ Thank you for your detailed response.
What size of this bathroom
This guy is so fast!
Wow nice! How much money did you save?
The shower nice pity about the walls

Are you in LA county?
One job that AI will never be able to replace 🎉.
Hm, the AI program downloaded into the robot could?
Hello how long take to done this job
9 minutes and 14 seconds
How much did you spend?
.....Is that, not a full bathroom for some reason?
I believe it’s a 3/4 bath. If there was a tub it would be a full bathroom.
@d.thompson7464 It's a full bath. If it has a toilet, sink, and shower or tub, it's considered a full bath.

Probably high but try it yourself. The video makes it look easy.
Mine is even smaller and the estimate was 60k...
10k is reasonable
But bathtub is less prone to leakage no?
First.
Can you put a break down of time and cost ?
From experience, floor vents in a bathroom aren’t ideal. Kids demonstrated to me that they should be moved to the wall off the floor.
What is your education sir
Philosophy and religious history, with studies in linguistics. Also information systems. 2 masters degrees.

Bu nasıl ev ya ? Bu evin her yerine böcekler ve farelerin yuva yapması için çok elverişli . 😂😂
Before much better
😀😀😀👍

Second?
I don't know if a black faucet is that good, you can see every lime stain on it or dust. Black is very ungrateful as a color.
'Poor' design, especially toilet bowl, ceramic tile - not practical format/size.
=== good workers/specialists ===
Design - not.
You don't need any tips...lol!
Great work.
Whats the average price?
Why get rid of the bathtub? 🛁
I know, I know. I was like just paint the vanity and perhaps replace the fixture. Paint the walls if you want a fresh look and walk away.
Why not? Is it your project?
