My 11 year old is a drummer at our church. He watch your video over and over and how you play it. Just before the lockdown he was asked if he could play drums that sunday. He played this song the way you did and I must tell you that our church loved it. They couldn't believe a 11 year old can play like adults do. So thank you sir you really are an inspiration.

Struggling with a lyric in this song since I’ll be singing it in church. “That you would bear my cross.” Jesus says in Matthew 16:24 “If anyone come after me, let him pick up his cross and follow me.” God does not carry our cross for us. We carry it for Christ. God just gives us the strength. We have a lot of work to do and we aren’t supposed to spend it on good vibes, but to preach the gospel to the lost and to feed God’s sheep.
Yes, but Jesus took our cross in that He bore our sins and paid the penalty that we were utterly unable to pay ourselves. As it has been said, "He came to pay a debt He didn't owe, because we owed a debt we couldn't pay." He suffered the cross so that we didn't have to.
