Kids "drive" into the operating room

At Wilmington, Delaware's Roxana Cannon Arsht Surgicenter, part of the Christiana Care Health System, kids get to "drive" a miniature BMW into the operating room. Nurse manager Debbie Gigliotti explains how this reduced the need for pre-operative medication.

I had to have alot of surgeries when I was a kid due to cerebral palsy and I wish that I was able to drive in to the OR like that with my road trip tunes blasting , it would've made me less anxious. I'm so glad that this is having a positive effect on the kids that are going in for surgery and their families.
