Continue to have this faith in God. Things will get hard and things may happen that you don't know how u will make it out. But stay on course and He will guide u and protect u. When u don't know where else to turn. Turn to God and pray. I'm blessed that you at 13 years of age u are finding God on your own and that no one is pressuring you to find Him. I have been going through one the hardest times of my life. True suffering and I’ve lost everything. God has me in a period of isolation and I’ve been devastated losing what I thought was everything and everyone. Pastor Mike said to pray fast and give. I gave my last 20$ a couple days ago to transformation church. That’s what the Holy Spirit put on my heart. I began my fast today and today I got a check in the mail for 273$. A check I shouldn’t have gotten BY ANY MEANS. God is here. If He said it then it’s settled! He has never left me. He has showed me that all other distractions took me away from Him. All I have left is to wait on Him and give him whatever is left of me. I said I love Jesus more then then things I was cuffed to and He said PROVE IT. No longer cuffed to condemnation, the cuddling (I’ve been celibate for a year and God took the guy away that made me stumble) and now I just want to be made whole through Him. If I’ve learned anything through these sermons when you ask God to change you and renew you it’s not easy! Breaking of culture and the things people say is not a big deal but GOD says differently. I had to realize when I said change me, renew me, transform me Jesus 2 years ago that I would lose everything I thought was good. God let your will be done in my life! Break every chain. In Jesus name I claim my deliverance from anything that is not of you Heavenly Father. Amen

I was walking in offense with my sisterhood based on “my” perception… they would reach out to check on me & I would lie everytime saying “I’m fine. I’m ok!”… Half way through this message the Holy Spirit was like “go ahead and reach out to the ones who you feels offended you and share how you felt.” The restoration and forgiveness happened IMMEDIATELY! Thank you Pastor Mike for being obedient to God and speaking ONLY what he tells you to. I needed to be set free from walking in offense and today, that happened.😊

I was a pathological lier and still struggle with it. A few weeks ago i told the truth about the BIGGEST and severe lie that i told just to get attention. Im working on a few stuff with my therapist, I look forward to a new beginning with God and I uncuff myself from cap
What can I say? This message really opened up how, “lying takes you farther than you want to go, keeps you longer than you want to stay, and costs you more than you can pay.” (2022, Todd). As Pastor Todd preached this, I got a flood of memories and how I was going around the mountain because of lying and where it began. I am going to do the homework. I am much better person now however, I am ready to expand and have a season of freedom.
I am so late listening to this message but I am believing God for security. I am stepping out on faith and quitting my job at the end of this month to go to nursing school. It is the first time I have not worked and gave up being cuffed to control. God has told me that He will give provision for me following the plan and this message was so much confirmation for me. I will not lie, i am so nervous but so excited about what He is going to do in my family. Also prayer warriors pray for one of the employees at my job. Her house caught fire the week before Thanksgiving and her and her kids lost everything.

To Pastor Mike, I’m very glad a video on this topic came out. I’ve been on a life mission to strive for pure honesty and it’s not easy but the truth does always set us free. You are right, we are humans and only God doesn’t lie but at least we have the best role model to look up to in Christ. You really hit hard topics and it was hard for ppl to watch who walked out for example but it’s very helpful. Wow!!! Thanks for this sermon I lie almost all the time. I've been asking Jesus and the holy spirit to help me stop lying. The Good news is everytime I go to lie the holy spirit correct me and I'm find myself repent and apologize for my lies so I know now the cuff of lies is breaking off of my heart soul and life.
This was something I struggled with a lot. I was known as the liar in my family, and for a while that was something I was actually proud of. I could lie my way into and out of situations with the right prep time and the right plan. However, when I gave my life to Christ I realized how damaging that was to my family and my relationship with God. How could I ask God to protect me in the trenches of my lie? God can only protect me if he brings light in, and the only way to bring light in is to expose the lie. Your lies don’t just stop at one. When you lie, you will have to tell another lie to cover the first lie. If your lie involves other people, you will then convince other people to lie for you in order to protect the lie. You cause others separation from Christ by asking them to lie for you. You begin to idolize the lifestyle you live from the lies you’ve told. I learned this the hard way. You can’t be upset with people when they don’t believe a word you say when you have a pattern of lying. Your words are useless. They mean absolutely zero. The only way you can be redeemed is through Jesus Christ AND FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE? My words held so much more value when I took the Lord serious, because my words began to manifest into my actions and I started to live in the truth where God protected me. 6 years of being a professional liar, and three months after giving my life to Christ words that never held value for 6 years started to hold value in less than three months. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the light. I couldn’t ever reach the Father if it wasn’t for Him. This is why I accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, because it was the only way I could ever get closer to God and live a peaceful life. Now, when I had a boyfriend my mom saw sandals in my car and I told her they belong to my now ex. She brought it back up again like almost a year later because she saw the sandals in the house and forgot that we spoke about it. I explained to her that these were the very same sandals that she found in my car almost a year ago. They were gifted to me even though they’re too big, and I never really got around to wearing them. I was honest back then, and reminded my mom that we had this conversation already. She still told me not to go back into the relationship, but had I lied about it the first time it would’ve been blown way out of pocket. Why? Because people remember your lies more than they do the truth. Because the lie causes more pain, the lie sticks around longer.
PREACH Pastor Todd!! Lying just DELAYS the uncomfortable. It never goes away. I committed to being so honest that I won't say I "never" lie just in case it's a lie. It has resolved so many issues so quickly. I don't have to think about my answers, because Laura does not lie. I am trusted by so many because people know I won't lie. It's so freeing!
I struggle with the idea that i’m truly saved, and around the 1 hour and 20 sec mark i really felt the lord speak to me through pastor mike so so so clearly and started crying for the first time in months. all my prayers of being used by God and bringing me closer to him were rooted in the desire to actually be used and get closer to him a good 98% of the time, but only to comfort myself so that i can feel that i have a better chance of hearing “well done my god and faithful servant.” God really showers me I haven’t had faith in him but have been trying to work out my salvation. praise God for calling me out for my protection from validation and works based salvation. Praise God that he is working in my life hallelujah. and as i listened to it again, I heard him say if i lied, that means your conviction and the holy spurt umyour comforter is a lie. Tell them this they need to heads this. I wont leave you. I’ve been here always. Just receive me. no worries, i’m here.” and what’s crazy is that he would tell me “i’m here” all the time last year to comfort me. let him comfort you by his truth.

God will and God has.. I will get over this depressive mental state. I will have top-tier grades by the end of the semester. My anxiety will be no more. I will take care of my body. I will balance my relationships. I will take care of my mind. I will give God continuous praise!!! AMEN
He is telling the truth about not answering the phone..I don’t even wanna answer cause there’s drama/trauma behind most phone calls..I’m so bad I’ll check caller ID and then call someone I trust to find out if anything is wrong in the family because I don’t want to hear it from certain family members who lie or exaggerate about issues..😫

Wow!!! Thanks for this sermon I lie almost all the time. I've been asking Jesus and the holy spirit to help me stop lying. The Good news is everytime I go to lie the holy spirit correct me and I'm find myself repent and apologize for my lies so I know now the cuff of lies is breaking off of my heart soul and life.

This was something I struggled with a lot. I was known as the liar in my family, and for a while that was something I was actually proud of. I could lie my way into and out of situations with the right prep time and the right plan. However, when I gave my life to Christ I realized how damaging that was to my family and my relationship with God. How could I ask God to protect me in the trenches of my lie? God can only protect me if he brings light in, and the only way to bring light in is to expose the lie.
Your lies don’t just stop at one. When you lie, you will have to tell another lie to cover the first lie. If your lie involves other people, you will then convince other people to lie for you in order to protect the lie. You cause others separation from Christ by asking them to lie for you.
You begin to idolize the lifestyle you live from the lies you’ve told.
I learned this the hard way. You can’t be upset with people when they don’t believe a word you say when you have a pattern of lying. Your words are useless. They mean absolutely zero. The only way you can be redeemed is through Jesus Christ AND FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE? My words held so much more value when I took the Lord serious, because my words began to manifest into my actions and I started to live in the truth where God protected me. 6 years of being a professional liar, and three months after giving my life to Christ words that never held value for 6 years started to hold value in less than three months.
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the light. I couldn’t ever reach the Father if it wasn’t for Him. This is why I accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, because it was the only way I could ever get closer to God and live a peaceful life.
Now, when I had a boyfriend my mom saw sandals in my car and I told her they belong to my now ex. She brought it back up again like almost a year later because she saw the sandals in the house and forgot that we spoke about it. I explained to her that these were the very same sandals that she found in my car almost a year ago. They were gifted to me even though they’re too big, and I never really got around to wearing them. I was honest back then, and reminded my mom that we had this conversation already. She still told me not to go back into the relationship, but had I lied about it the first time it would’ve been blown way out of pocket. Why? Because people remember your lies more than they do the truth.
Because the lie causes more pain, the lie sticks around longer.
PREACH Pastor Todd!! Lying just DELAYS the uncomfortable. It never goes away. I committed to being so honest that I won't say I "never" lie just in case it's a lie. It has resolved so many issues so quickly. I don't have to think about my answers, because Laura does not lie. I am trusted by so many because people know I won't lie. It's so freeing!

I struggle with the idea that i’m truly saved, and around the 1 hour and 20 sec mark i really felt the lord speak to me through pastor mike so so so clearly and started crying for the first time in months. all my prayers of being used by God and bringing me closer to him were rooted in the desire to actually be used and get closer to him a good 98% of the time, but only to comfort myself so that i can feel that i have a better chance of hearing “well done my god and faithful servant.” God really showers me I haven’t had faith in him but have been trying to work out my salvation. praise God for calling me out for my protection from validation and works based salvation. Praise God that he is working in my life hallelujah. and as i listened to it again, I heard him say if i lied, that means your conviction and the holy spurt umyour comforter is a lie. Tell them this they need to heads this. I wont leave you. I’ve been here always. Just receive me. no worries, i’m here.” and what’s crazy is that he would tell me “i’m here” all the time last year to comfort me. let him comfort you by his truth.
I’m believing God to do the impossible in my life and the lives of those around me. I woke ip to this playing on my phone and my father is not a man that he shall lie. 🙌🏽
